1 เหตุฉะนั้นถ้าได้รับการเร้าใจประการใดในพระคริสต์ ถ้ามีการหนุนใจประการใดในความรัก ถ้ามีส่วนประการใดกับพระวิญญาณ ถ้ามีการรักใคร่เอ็นดูและเห็นอกเห็นใจประการใด

2 ก็ขอให้ท่านทำให้ความยินดีของข้าพเจ้าเต็มเปี่ยม ด้วยการมีความคิดอย่างเดียวกัน มีความรักอย่างเดียวกัน มีใจรู้สึกและคิดพร้อมเพรียงกัน

3 อย่าทำสิ่งใดในทางทุ่มเถียงกันหรืออวดดี แต่จงมีใจถ่อมถือว่าคนอื่นดีกว่าตัว

4 อย่าให้ต่างคนต่างเห็นแก่ประโยชน์ของตนฝ่ายเดียว แต่จงเห็นแก่ประโยชน์ของคนอื่นๆด้วย

1 If there be therefore any consolation (mental relief and Comfort) in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,

2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

I. ความปลอบประโลมที่พระเยซูคริสต์ทรงให้แก่เรา I. The Comfort Christ Gives Us

ฮีบรู 13:5 ท่านจงพ้นจากการรักเงิน จงพอใจในสิ่งที่ท่านมีอยู่ เพราะว่าพระองค์ได้ตรัสไว้แล้วว่า "เราจะไม่ละท่านหรือทอดทิ้งท่านเลย"

He comforts us by His presence, but He also comforts us by His Love...

ความรักของพระองค์เอง - 1 ยอห์น 4:9-11 His Love –

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

1 ยอห์น 4:9-11

9 โดยข้อนี้ความรักของพระเจ้าที่มีต่อเราทั้งหลายก็เป็นที่ประจักษ์แล้ว เพราะว่าพระเจ้าทรงใช้พระบุตรองค์เดียวของพระองค์ที่บังเกิดมาให้เสด็จเข้ามาในโลก เพื่อเราทั้งหลายจะได้ดำรงชีวิตโดยพระบุตรนั้น

11 ท่านที่รักทั้งหลาย ถ้าพระเจ้าทรงรักเราทั้งหลายเช่นนี้ เราก็ควรจะรักซึ่งกันและกันด้วย

ผู้ปลอบประโลมของพระองค์เอง - 1 ยอห์น 4:13 C. His Comforter –

Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

1 ยอห์น 4:13 ดังนี้แหละเราทั้งหลายจึงรู้ว่า เราอยู่ในพระองค์และพระองค์ทรงสถิตอยู่ในเรา เพราะพระองค์ได้ทรงโปรดประทานพระวิญญาณของพระองค์แก่เรา

Through God Himself, the Holy Ghost, we have this gift of comfort and His abiding presence!

น้ำหนึ่งใจเดียวกันของเราเป็นการสะท้อนความปลอบประโลมของพระเยซูคริสต์ II. Our Unity is a Reflection of Christ' Comfort in Our Lives

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Most talk today about Christian Unity is based on Unity being the goal, but that is not right.

Biblical Unity is focused on aligning with the Bible!

In the first case, we set aside what we believe the Bible teaches so we can have peace with others, but then we are at odds with God’s Word (with God)

In the second, we lift up the Word of God and those who also lift up the Word of God will join with us.

เราต้องมีความรักของพระคริสต์เพื่อผู้อื่น - 1ยอห์น 4:11 B. We are to have the Love of Christ –

Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

1ยอห์น 4:11 ท่านที่รักทั้งหลาย ถ้าพระเจ้าทรงรักเราทั้งหลายเช่นนี้ เราก็ควรจะรักซึ่งกันและกันด้วย

การทุ่มเถียงกัน A. Strife

3 อย่าทำสิ่งใดในทางทุ่มเถียงกันหรืออวดดี แต่จงมีใจถ่อมถือว่าคนอื่นดีกว่าตัวA. Strife

= A struggle for a better position –

เยเรมีย์ 46:5 ทำไมเราเห็นเขาทั้งหลายครั่นคร้ามและหันหลังกลับ นักรบของเขาทั้งหลายถูกตีล้มลงและได้เร่งหนีไป เขาทั้งหลายไม่เหลียวกลับ ความสยดสยองอยู่ทุกด้าน พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้แหละ

5 ทำไมเราเห็นเขาทั้งหลายครั่นคร้ามและหันหลังกลับ นักรบของเขาทั้งหลายถูกตีล้มลงและได้เร่งหนีไป เขาทั้งหลายไม่เหลียวกลับ ความสยดสยองอยู่ทุกด้าน พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้แหละ

And seekest thou great things for thyself? seek them not: for, behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh, saith the LORD: but thy life will I give unto thee for a prey in all places whither thou goest.

การอวดดี - ดาเนียล 4:30-32 B. Vainglory - Daniel 4:30-32

– We are excited by our own accomplishments and how people view us -

Nebuchadnezzar was so proud of the kingdom he had made. But he did not realize/remember that God had prophesied this would happen!

ดาเนียล 4:30-32

30 The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?

31 While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee.

32 And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.

ดาเนียล 4:30-32

ความหย่ิง C. Pride

= Thinking more highly of yourself than God does. God knows the wickedness of our hearts, you don't!

เยเรมีย์ 17:9 จิตใจก็เป็นตัวล่อลวงเหนือกว่าสิ่งใดทั้งหมด มันเสื่อมทรามอย่างร้ายทีเดียว ผู้ใดจะรู้จักใจนั้นเล่า

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

1โครินธ์ 10:12 เหตุฉะนั้นคนที่คิดว่าตัวเองมั่นคงดีแล้ว ก็จงระวังให้ดี กลัวว่าจะล้มลง

Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

ความแข็งแรงและความมั่นใจของเรา และกำลังควรมาจากพระเจ้าไม่ใช่ตัวเราเอง - 2 โครินธ์ 10:4-5 Our Strength and confidence and surety is to come from God not ourselves -

4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

2โครินธ์ 10:4-5

4 (เพราะว่าศาสตราวุธแห่งการสงครามของเราไม่เป็นฝ่ายเนื้อหนัง แต่มีอานุภาพอันยิ่งใหญ่จากพระเจ้าที่จะทลายป้อมอันแข็งแกร่งลงได้)

5 คือทำลายความคิด และทิฐิมานะทุกประการที่ตั้งตัวขึ้นขัดขวางความรู้ของพระเจ้า และน้อมนำความคิดทุกประการให้เข้าอยู่ใต้บังคับจนถึงเชื่อฟังพระคริสต์

ข้อสรุป Conclusion:

· Maybe you are here today and you have been questioning whether or not God is really there for you. Maybe you think that God can not help you with your problems or won't help you. Friend, the Bible says God will never leave us and He'll never forsake us either.

◦ Repent of your wrong ideas about God and Lean on Him and His Comfort.

· Are we a reflection of Christ to those around us? Not just a witness of Christ but does our life reflect Him to others?

· Folks, we are told here to have the same mind, it is not optional for the Christian, it is a command!

◦ Is there Strife in your life?

◦ Do the thoughts of your heart reflect the same attitude as king Nebuchadnezzar?

◦ Do you think more highly of yourself than you should? Remember, we are nothing and Christ is everything.
