I won’t ask you to raise your hands, but ask yourself how you would respond if someone were to ask why you came here.
Would it include any or all of these three things?

!!!!! 1)            Some would say Reason should be primary, Religion assumed and Romance an option if you have time.
!!!!! 2)            Others would say Religion is paramount, Reason crucial and then Romance a distant third.
!!!!! 3)            Few would admit, I suppose, that Romance was a primary motivator for their coming here.

!!! 2.            For generations Adventist parents have invested significant amounts of money in Walla Walla College, hoping as much for a son or daughter-in-law as for an education.

My premise today is that your success in any one of these three areas will require very similar actions by you.

Top ten reasons Romance, Reason and Religion.
You will probably improve on this list, but at least let me give you some ideas to get you started.
For the sake of this comparison, equate love and marriage’s goal of a long-term, productive and happy relationship with religion’s goal of a stable, happy relationship with God.

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it.
But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
