True story you guys happy to be here this morning. Do you follow Jesus? Is that why you're here? Cuz you follow Jesus. There's a lot of stories about Jesus in scripture and I grew up in church. So I know most of those stories really really well and I'm discovering as an adult as I dig into the stories. I didn't know the story so well not because I didn't have some of the the the the language of the lingo or the in the plot right? I know those right but sometimes I don't see block beyond the surface of that story and see what Jesus was really doing in the world that he was walking around it right side note. I want to know Jesus still walks around in this world. Jesus still walks around in this world. But in what form, how does it do that? His spirit in us his spirit in US ask my boys at dinner the other night. I said, what does it mean that that Jesus lives on the inside of you? I think Adam said well, it means he's in my heart. I said so true son. What does that mean? Is there like a little dude inside there like a little Jesus like sitting in your heart. Like this, maybe that's how I imagine it happening. He said no obviously not dad. Will what does it mean that Christ is in you and he said it means I believe in him. Yes. You're right, but you're still not answering my question Sonny. What does it mean that Christ is in you? And I struggled to come up with the words. I think they think they kind of have the idea because they hear you know, they grow up in a home with this is what we do. We we tell people about Jesus and we ourselves follow Jesus and so it was important to me that our children knew what does it mean that Christ is in you was that mean do we know what that means that Christ is in us and what form is he couldn't articulate because they're 9 and 12 and Lila's 5 in boys. She came up with some wild answers, but it was fun. She she was the she was the color commentary. She added jokes and fun to the conversation cuz Dad can make it real serious. I said well how many vetoes Kevin Katie's son Maverick this little cute little baby boy nail know him and think he's the cutest Lil thing. I said, do you know? That we're born and our Spirits are dead. Where was separate from him but you look at Maverick? Does Maverick look dead know he doesn't look dead. He's a he's a happy baby boy I said, but do you know that he still needs Jesus on the inside of him and one day he will discover Christ in and he will be made alive on the inside. So I want you guys to wrap your mind around that that even this bouncing baby boy with all the Coos and Giggles in the the drool and a happy face in the last. There's there's no life on on on the inside when it comes to his Spirit, which is a very harsh reality to it to imagine, but that's the world were born in. What does it mean to have Christ on the inside of us? It means that Christ through his spirit and one of the Holy Spirit right through the spirit of Christ. Our spirit has been regenerated been made a lot. So when you take Jesus his spirit and you you you bring it into into a covenant with our spirit that is dead. We are regenerated and we are alive and we are new and I think as Believers we understand that we have a new spirit on the inside of us, but I want you to understand that that Spirit on the side of you is just as much Jesus as it is you It's just as much Jesus as it is you.

Okay deep. I don't think we go deep enough as the church. True story imagine being there during these the stories, you know about Jesus and actually being present while it's happening how much more of the context that you're in how much more does that impact that your interpretation of what happened where to take for stories this month for very famous stories about Jesus which are true story. But I want us to discover truth Beyond just the surface that we may have accepted as that's the story there's more to it. Amen. Our first story takes place at a wedding go with me in your Bibles to the Book of John. And God bless you. You're going to have to hear me be a little raspy this morning. I was I've been just going through it. And as far as sinuses are concerned, it's just it's been a lot of fun and it's been a lot of snot and it's been a lot of coughing and all that good stuff Praise Jesus. amen Our first story takes place in a at a wedding. How do you know where things are a big deal? Weddings are a big deal. I get nervous at weddings cuz they're such a such a big deal. I've been asked if it's a it's an honor and a blessing to be able to officiate the marriage of of a couple. I'll be honest with you. It's terrifying. It's terrifying to me because not because of everything leading up to the wedding and we we like to counseling meet and do life with this couple before I tie the knot and one of my requirements is you have to go to dinner with me at least four times before I will help you say I do and so if we can't get that done, I'm sorry, and I had a friend from high school who lived with me for a. Of time call me and say hey I met this girl. I got this girl. I want to marry her next weekend. You do our wedding. I said we don't have time. And I said no because it said that's just too it's just too important to me. I want I want to go to that process with these people before we jump into that commitment. Right weddings are a big deal the wedding ceremony of the part that terrifies me though, cuz everything's got to be just right and I'm worried that I look stupid standing up there and I feel like everybody is looking at me and how private is that? Cuz everybody's looking at them Pride or someone else but I'm like don't stutter. You know, the first time I ever did a wedding at I like to have them hand me the Rings and then I give them back to him. And so I did that I had both rings and I couldn't remember like who comes first crap. So I just I gave them both back the reins and I just I just picked any mini. Miny moe, let's go with you you're going to say this person and we went for that way. Weddings are a big deal, but they're in even bigger deal two thousand years ago in Jesus's time and then I would imagine still in that same culture. There there a bigger deal than they are and they are here even though we put a lot of hype and and and money on weddings money into weddings back then weddings will go on for days because know this at the celebration will go on literally four days and and there's three parts to to a wedding is is theirs first. There's that there's that contract that I want you to understand that I'm talking about weddings a day because we're going to we're going to discover the relationship that got always designed for you and I was with him was always to be much like a a marriage and a wedding and so for you ladies that makes a little bit of sense for the dudes in here. You're like way to fit it. This is strange to me and go with me will take the romantic stuff out of it, right but they're supposed to be such a covenant such a relationship such a Two becoming one that it is much like a wedding. In fact, I want you to understand that God designed that relationship between you and him before he even designed the wedding. Right? And so it was always God's plan to have us in his presence in in in in in Fellowship relationship with him and then weddings and stuff came later right after he created us in and he made out on first and then and even then on and on okay, and so let's not get lost in the the Romantic side of of weddings, but let's get let's let's understand the commitment side the the the contract signed the Covenant side of wedding. You guys with me? All right, that's what that's a big enough intro and then we'll get started. So there's a huge one of one big part of weddings is that that contract between the parrot squishy back then between bride and bridegroom. There was a dowry right and there was a betrothal or an engagement. That's important for us to keep in mind as we study today. Second part is the bridegroom and his male friends would would go to the house of the bride and midnight. It would create a Torchlight parade and they would in take the bride who was who was she wasn't kidnapped. She was expecting to come so she prepared herself. She may seem everything just right and she waited for these torch light this Torch Light Parade to come these lamps to come in and to lead her then to to his house, right? So that was a big part of the wedding there. And then of course after the marriage there's a big supper. Which might have gone on for days and days and days and so we're going to pick up at a wedding at the supper part the Party part in Jesus and his disciples have been invited to come to this wedding on. I don't know whose wedding. This is it doesn't tell us but it was evidently a friend or family member or acquaintance of Jesus and and he and the disciples were there. and you guys all know the story where Jesus turned water into wine at this wedding and we call that his first miracle and I remember learning about this and thinking like, okay cool his first miracle, I mean Later on in life. He had to raise people from the dead and heal the blind in and and do things like that. And so turning water into wine. It's a warm up right the warm-up miracle, and it was something small and maybe the bigger Miracles will come later, but I want to challenge that thought today. I want to submit to to you guys that maybe this was the greatest act Jesus performed. aside from the crucifixion and if you think about it any any political leader religious leader celebrity who's going to roll on the sea? And and and give their first public statement. They're going to choose their words very carefully. We're going to choose their actions very carefully. They're going to choose the setting in the and everything very carefully and I want to submit to us this morning that that that's that was always Jesus playing here at the wedding in Cana and he knew exactly what he was doing. And I can prove it to you here in scripture go with me to John chapter 2. It says this new verse 1 through 3. First two says on the third day of wedding took place in Cana in Galilee Jesus. His mother was there and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. What's the next part when the wine was gone? Jesus's mother said to him to have no more wine. This is interesting because this will be a major party Foul in a wedding that's going to go on for days and you ran out of wine. Right. There's no wine. There's no party. There's no and in wine was always a symbol of Abundance of Joy of just just fun living and when you're putting on a party you want people to have fun when you're putting on a wedding party does the families both want to represent life and fun and joy, I'm not talking about, you know, crazy party Antics that that may come to mind. I'm talking about just Larger than Life. We've got something to live for and in these were Jews in and they worship Yahweh. And so they gave blessing and thanks to get to Yahweh and and it was it was a it was a it was a fun time.

I should be fun. And so here we are at a wedding and Jesus is there his disciples are there and Mary is there in the all the family and all the people are there and they run out of wine in Jesus says you got to do something. You guys remember the story? North me to verse for Jesus's response, sometimes it's hard to read this and exactly the right tone. I'm going to read it a town that I most perceive it which is kind of challenging. Mary says, what did she say they have no more wine. And so and verse for Jesus comes in and says woman. Why do you involve me? Why do you involve me? I don't know if he said it like Holman. Why why do you love me or is like Willie? Why do you involve me to study this a little bit today? We're going to see that it was probably did come from a very deep place in Jesus's heart and I believe it was more of a long the lines of woman. Why do you involve me?

Jesus replied my hour has yet come my hour has not yet come his mother said to the servants just completely ignoring him said do whatever he tells you. She's just assuming that Jesus is going to do this after he said hey, this is not my show is not my time. This is not my our she says hey, whatever he tells you to do go do it. I think that was her way of saying you got to do it Jesus. I'm still your mother, right?

Do whatever he tells you. It's go to First 6 nearby stood six Stone water jars. I want you to underline Stone water jars there. It's our Lord 6 when I come back to that to the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing. These jars were these 20 to 30 gallon jars that would be placed out front of whatever venue or Temple or or house where people are going to come for dinner and they didn't understand germs the way we do so they didn't wash their hands because of germs, although I think that's probably always part of God's plan. He knows he knew about nerves right but it was a ceremonial washing which meant I'm not clean. I'm not clean enough to come into this place and sit down and have an open communion with these other children of God. And so I'm going to go to the ceremony of wash so they would wash there in these these jars. They would leave the water would be there. They would leave it and then they would move in now that they certainly didn't know anything about germs cuz everybody wash jars as discussed right and surprised if we're still here today and we can all just died of the plague at this wedding goes wrong, whatever so Each holding about 20 to 30 gallons. What's the next scripture? Jesus said the service filled those jars with water so they fill them to the brim he going with the same next and he told them now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet and they did so is a take those Stone Those clay jars filled in with water again, and then he says draw from that and take it to the master of the banquet. I remember Mary said do whatever he tells you so these these these servants were just taking action, you know, they probably thought this is Ludacris. This is crazy. Why is this man? He just yelled at his mom and now he's going to send us over here and we're going to get fired. We're going to lose our job. I'm going to go to the master of the banquet and I'm the servant and he's the man. That's my boss. I'm going to take my boss and water and say hey boss the crowd. Right who's with me?

In the master of the banquet Taste of the water that had been turned into wine. You turned it into wine. You did not realize where it come from. He had no idea. He thought these guys found some wine. That's awesome. Did not realize where you come from the other servants who had drawn the water they knew. Then he called the bridegroom beside, you know, hey, we we met before we plan this wedding and where was this why you didn't tell me about this morning that I was I was going to bring out later and he says everyone brings out twice wine first, you know, the expensive stuff then the cheaper wine after all the guests have I've had too much to drink after everybody's drunk. Let's bring the cheap stuff out them. Never know and we'll just keep having a good time. It'll be great. But the master of the banquet is confused. He said I thought we were out of line all the sudden. We got the good stuff and he brings opposed to the bride. Riverside says, this is good man. I like your style. I see what you doing here. You're making me look good cuz I'm throwing this party for you and your family and he says, but you have saved the best till now. I'm so important for us to understand that the wine Jesus. Created out of water in these jars was the best wine that had been poured at that banquet and it's not just because Jesus doesn't right. or Jesus has

is cultured and has great taste in wine. It's because of what this moment meant to Jesus. What it meant to Creation? The true story here isn't that Jesus performed his first miracle at a wedding reluctantly because he wasn't yet ready for the public scene, but he did it anyway because his mother pushed him too. That's not the story. The real story is what Jesus was was screaming at us through this action of this will be your relationship in your life with me. I want to see it here. Are you excited? I'm going to little bible study this morning and then next week. We'll come back and get another famous store I want to do is all the way after Christmas when I break down these stories and this is a serious we're Reviving and we did maybe back in 2014 that I'm revamping because this is my favorite series we've ever done here at the church at connect church. It's not necessarily my favorite sermons, but that's another story. But this is my favorite series because of what it does to our understanding of Jesus and how if at the very least Church listen to me, I pray that you would go through all four of us apart of this series and it would change the way you read your Bible. It would change the way you understand. What would the words on the page and you would ask the spirit of God to bring Revelation and wisdom to you as you study that's important. Amen. That's important. Okay to pick up first 11 what Jesus did here in Canaan to said in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory. And his disciples believed in him this part so important. I don't believe what Jesus did with those water jars was just a miracle. Because it says here. The first of the signs through which he revealed. His glory is Jesus's Glory just that he can do miracles.

Is Jesus Glory just so he could turn water into wine God? I hope not really cool trick. I hope that his glory is more than that and it truly is what he did in that moment was a sign Church assigned to which he revealed his glory. So what is the sign? What am I missing? What's the true story here? What is his glory? That's what we're going to get into. Glory revealed Not just a miracle. But assign a picture of what a side is a picture of what he is. balanced the exact picture of what he's all about who he came to be. What you came to do? What he has to offer and how we can receive it. I want you to put yourself as a wedding guest in Cana right now and you're observing this whole thing before your eyes. Let's talk about this Glory revealed go with me to the verse 8 again. He told them now draw out and take it to the master of the banquet and they did so weddings had a master of the banquet or some was a life of the party. This was a wedding planner the DJ the MC. He he probably announce the couples as they came in Ryan to did the father daughter dance and then did the chicken dance in and whatever else is cool these days that I'm just unaware of he did that and he was the one that brought the led the procession of the food out. Probably any probably poured wine and just he was the life of the party right? Why would Jesus do this miracle? I want you to write this down. I believe that in this moment Jesus he is revealing that he is the true Master of the banquet. Jesus is the true Master of the banquet. You see it was a master of the banquet responsibility to make sure the guests had a good time at the guess. We're comfortable that they were had all their needs met that there was enough food. And that there was enough why?

Jesus Told the service. To draw the water and take it to the master of the banquet. I Think Jesus was kind of one-upping him they're saying Can you see Jesus across across the the plaza maybe and that the master of the banquet a sitnews goes?

Where you at? That's me. I Believe In This Moment Jesus is revealing that he's a true match for the bank would not at that wedding, but in creation In in in in the world. God created Jesus is the master of the banquet. Let me tell you to church. I hope you live a long time and I hope I live with you. I want to have a great time with you on this on this world, but I can't wait that when you and I pass from this world. You know what we're going to see I'm going to see Jesus the master of the banquet waiting at the feast with all that wine and all that food. Waiting on you. He's the true Master of the bank. Where are you? Are you following me church is this good stuff? Jesus didn't didn't didn't do a half Miracle like a baby Miracle like hey Mom, this is Will son. It's important for the people to have fun. So I'll give it a shot. It worked it was at was nothing like that. I believe Jesus said okay. How many seasons was in a certain state of mind the whole time? How do you feel when you go to weddings? What do you think about before you're married when you're at a wedding you're thinking about what your own wedding? Your own wedding even now that you know that Mary not go to weddings and still remember my own wedding. Why wouldn't Jesus be thinking about his wedding? I'm not talking about some you know, brunette that he's got his eye on.

I mean the wedding he knew he was on this Earth.

the master the wedding between us and our heavenly father. understanding How he was going to to fulfill that amen?

Draw some out take it to the master of the banquet. In a way I Think. Jesus is Is saying some things that you got to think back in this day, there was a lot of maybe some Greeks there and or they at least the Jews lived in a Greek culture and they knew of the the the down down is seeing cultural that were they they worship the god of of the festival the god of wine. And here is Jesus saying look what I can do with wine and use was just making a huge statement here at this wedding. In Isaiah 25, they would have known that it said on this mountain the Lord Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for All Peoples a banquet of aged wine. The best of meats in the finest of wines. Do this is just fulfilling prophecy left and right

It's like he's saying of all the things I could have shown you first. I'm showing you that I am Festival Joy. My first sign to you is that I bring joy and life and Festival. Let me see this.

I think some Christians we think that Christianity is suck it up. Stay clean. Forget the fun.

What Christianity is is not a set of rules? It's a it is a feast. amen It's not a set of rules. It's a feast it's a party. So my make a t-shirt says Jesus is a party. Jesus is a party will get it. We believe it right going to John Chapter 14 verse 6. Jesus is a no one comes to the father except through me. No one comes to the father except through me. If you really know me you will know my father is well from now on you do not know him. I'm sorry for now on you do know him because you know me and you seen him because you see me. right John Cena Book of John chapter 1 it says in the beginning was the word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning Jesus was with God in the beginning when it all went down when he created everything. You're so much creative power in Jesus. Jesus is the most creative guy, you know, he's a funniest person, you know, and I'm not trying to be cheesy to to convince you to follow Jesus because he's Jesus is my homeboy. I hate that. Actually, I don't like that statement. I think it's belittling of him. Jesus is my king. But he's also the king of everything that of life. Of creativity of creation. Amen. He's the master of the banquet at this Grand Feast that all creation is poised and waiting to see when we all triumphantly enter Heaven together and there's this big party and there's Y and there's food and and is fun. amen Jesus is making very clear here that he is a master of the banquet. So that should do something to us in our in our lives when we feel a little bit run down and we feel a little bit pressure or depressed or upset or frustrated or disappointed that we follow the master of the banquet and this is supposed to be a Victorious Life of triumphing over the enemy. And I'll follow the King of Kings the Lord of lords the one who was there in the beginning the one who came generations and generations Generations laughter and live the life just like me.

And it laid his life down. So that I could have eternal life because his plan was to get me to that party.

He was with God in the beginning. It says through him all things were made without him. Nothing was made that has been made. No wonder he could turn water into wine. He made the Earth.

He made the grapes that should have been used to turn to to make wine. He he he created the water that was actually used to create.

He's got this he's in charge. He's in control his plan is you're all going to have a good time. It's his party.

So what do we do with that? Go to him. for everything Go to Jesus for everything. Don't go anywhere else. Nothing else Works. He's the master of the banquet you go to him. You go to him for everything. I'm sure the servants went to the bride su-22 the mass of the banquet is that we're out of wine. He probably thought going to run us out of this town. I'm going to lose my accounts for the rest of the year no more weddings business for me. And Mary comes and gets Jesus and they take it to him and he thinks oh my goodness.

The bride the groom save the day for me you brought in some good wine. Let's go back to chapter to remember in that verse for Jesus's response. He's a woman. Why do you involve me? Jesus replied? My hour has not yet. Come Jesus responds a bit harshly here to his mother in my opinion. I think all the moms in a room to say Amen. My hour has not yet come he said this means that it's not his time to perform Miracles, right? Is that what we how we interpret that likes but it's not my turn to perform Miracles. I'm not ready or it's not it's not God's timing. It's it's just it's not my time. I don't believe that that's what he meant any longer after I've been thinking about Jesus as the master of the banquet. In what what he's I believe what Jesus is doing in that moment is he's he's pondering his own wedding and he's thinking about how he's going to make wine for his wedding. And here he is at this wedding at Cana and they run out of wine and she says Hey Jesus with woman is not my time. I believe he's thinking about his wedding and and what it would take to get wine at that wedding because do you realize what the wind at his wedding is?

Do we realize what the wine at Jesus's wedding is? It's his blood.

At the marriage of us and him he delivers his blood. That's his wife.

Jesus is thinking. how he will produce the wine for his own wedding

got the Old Testament were told that God wants to to know us as profoundly as husband and wife. He also refers to himself as the bridegroom. John describes Us near the end of Revelation he describes for us. What what Jesus was thinking about? He says it's in Revelation chapter 19, let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory for the wedding of the Lamb has come and his bride has has made herself ready. That's us his church. Skip ahead 2 verse 9 2 says then the angel told me right. This said blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb? And he added these are the true words of God. Write it down. I was thinking of how he would produce wine at his wedding. He was thinking about his own blood. He said my hour. I often thought that that was the hour of his performance know the hour of his death. It's not my hour. It's not my death. It's not my time. I'm not responsible for wine at this wedding. I'm responsible for Wynette and Loan wedding.

The only way I'm going to be able to provide wine as I must go through my death is what he was thinking Luke chapter 22 does in the same way after the supper. He took the cup saying this cup is the New Covenant in my blood which is poured out for me.

There was no way for him to be thinking of joining with us without thinking of how we would be joined. the hour of his death So what are you and I do with that. We got to give ourselves to it the same way of bride would give herself to her groom. You got to give our self to him. Amen. Give ourselves to him. finally this this this sign reveals what he's come to offer. A man go with me to John Chapter 2 again. In verse 10 we read it and it says everyone brings out twice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink. But you have saved the best till now.

Is Jesus saying there's nothing better than this? There's no better life than the life I can get. There's no discount version. There's no cheap version in fact. All that you could produce your most expensive wine is cheap compared to this.

Remembering Isaiah said age fine aged wine. The best aged wine that the finest food the finest wine. Who's hungry?

Bibles uses this sensory experience language when it comes to our relationship with God. Doesn't it? Listen to what it says in Psalm chapter 34 taste and see the scripture says taste and see the Lord is good blessed is the one who takes refuge in him is not enough to know Jesus not enough to know this life not enough to know who God is and what he can do. We need to taste it. We need to experience it. Amen. We need to consume him. You know, I've never never ceases to amaze me every time I taste honey. I'm always surprised at how sweet it is. I'm tasting it for 38 years everytime. I taste honey. I'm always surprised at how sweet it is. That's Jesus. I never get used to that. You'll never grow old or stale cheap. amen So what was he revealing write this down? He was reviewing in this act in this side that he offers the taste of life. 7 John 10:10, the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life and have it to the full he wants us to taste and experience the fullness of his life church. He wants us to taste and experience the fullness of his life.

What is Christianity it's not a set of rules. It's a feast. Hey, man, it's a feast the first step of tasting anything is is to be hungry or thirsty for we need to be hungry and thirsty for him for this life that he offers were thirsty for life. But we go seek the that the quench that thirst in so many other ways. It's only through him and we think that it's a church that might do it. We think that it's our priest or Pastor or preacher that might do it. It's him. It's Jesus. Amen is cheese.

Here's a takeaway go with me John chapter 19 later knowing that everything had now been finished. This is when Jesus was on the cross. So the scripture would be fulfilled. Jesus said I am thirsty. Thirsty doesn't Hebrews fixing our eyes on Jesus the Pioneer Perfecter of faith for the joy set before him. He endured the cross scorning its shame. He sat down at the right hand of God at the Throne of God the joy set before him. He saw Beyond The Painted at Cross at the joy set before him and yes, it was sitting at the throne with his heavenly father, but he but he was not leaving us out of the equation because he had to go through that cross for us. Jesus did not have to go through the cross to get to God. He came down from God. He went through the cross so that we could come with him. Do you see that church? So when Jesus says I'm thirsty. It's not because he was in a blistering heat hanging on a cross. I believe it was probably very thirsty because probably waiting for that so it wasn't just now thirsty on the cross those words coming out of his mouth meant something. He said I'm thirsty. There's a feast ahead. My blood is being poured out. He couldn't wait to drink of his own blood with us. Amen.

Hours before when he was having dinner with the disciples. They passed around the cups, right there were doing communion the first communion.

This was the Last Supper we call it cuz someone painted a picture about it. He told them he said wait, I'm not going to drink that cup. He said I have this cup with you later. Becca the fourth cup it would pass for cups during the Passover meal. And that was the same meal that Jesus was was there and he said do this in remembrance of me? Where do that here in a moment? First cup came Ronnie Drake second cup a runny drink third cup plus 1/4 cup makes his way around a Jesus says I'm not going to drink from this cup yet. Gets up from the table goes to the garden and praise. They come they arrest him. They tortured him over the night throw him in the Anna in a legal trial and accuse him. They tortured him some more and then they put a cross on his back marching uphill and by the next afternoon, he was hanging there and now he's saying I'm thirsty.

thirsty

Ready for his drink.

Not drink Church. Takes place as you and I enter Heaven together. We'll have that cup of them almost as if time was frozen. We don't understand space of Time and Eternity. I won't get into that cuz I've already over time but we're going to enter in there. Jesus is still just hours away from that cup. And here we are over there. The world is it is a thing of the past and and we're with him and Eternity and it's a feast forever. And we're going to drink that cup.

amen

Looks like a bridegroom standing at the altar looking down the aisle as his bride is coming right this down. He longed to make us his bride. Long to make as his bride says in John Chapter 2. Remember those those nearby six Stone water jars. We were those the ones he made the wine in the kindest is the kind used by Jews for ceremonial washing.

Each holding about 20 30 gallons. That's a lot of wine.

I want to how much further the party win after that. Add a few more days on this one next purse.

The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming. Law requires that they would wash their hands ceremony in the jars Are Hebrews tells us that the law? Only shadow of the things are coming not the reality of himself. So wasn't nothing to do with the jars in the washing for the reason it can never buy the same sacrifices repeated endlessly Europe to make perfect those who draw near to worship that washing is never going to get to clean go to next one. Otherwise would they have stopped being offered? No need to do it all the time watch once we done. For the worshippers would have been cleansed once Inspiron with no longer have felt guilty for their sins next worth. But those sacrifices are an annual reminder set.

It's impossible for the blood of bulls and goats. Take away sins. But there is blood that is possible to take away since there is blood as possible. We cannot be clean. We cannot come here without being joined to him. Jesus said there's no way for these people to be clean. So I will join them with me through his blood we become married to him. Now, we can draw near now we can approach Jesus was thinking of his wedding and his mom interrupted his thoughts. He said woman is not my time. Is mine was fixed on on on what was I was to take place in his own life. And he says well if I'm going to step into this is a perfect opportunity for me to reveal my glory to this way to remember I told you that it was the first of his signs of his glory and the disciples believed the disciples saw it and shook them. I'm sure and I thought wow I get it. I get it. I get it. I understand who Jesus is.

1st Corinthians, whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit. That's Christ in us, right? how he's in a 1st Corinthians 6 do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit? Who is in you whom you have received? from God 06 water jars

You can look in the Old Testament. You can see a pattern. 6 has always represented the number for men. I'm not real big in the symbolism. Although it seems I got is right. I'm not trying to find symbols in and stuff and whatnot. But when they're there their they're that's awesome. 6 is the number of man? He said bring me six of those jars. Do you think it's a coincidence that these clay jars made out of the Earth? Our creation that's been that's fallen and then the ceremonial washing taking place inside of them was was was religions best attempt to to cleanse you, but I had to go again and again and again and again, Jesus said bring me those six vessels made from this Fallen Earth and put them in front of me like man, and I'm going to create something new inside of them. I'm going to take what they can offer best and it would only just bring religion into it which is man-made but I'm going to come in and I'm going to I'm going to turn that inside of you that broken the broken Earth vessel and make you make you knew why. You did it inside of you didn't have to break you down and change you he just took you as you already says watch this and it makes your new on the inside. He did that. They're the one.

It was the old way of washing the old way making clean. It was a reminder of sin in Jesus said watch this. men Watch this.

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit who was in you whom you have received from God? You are not your own. You were bought with a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies last thing to write down except what he has done.
