Introduction
Greetings...
There has never been more written about or more scrutinized than that of Jesus the only begotten Son of God.
Jesus is the most polarizing person to ever live on this earth and that makes sense considering who He is what His purpose on earth was.
So much “misinformation” is out there concerning Jesus and this morning we are going to take a moment and examine “God the Son” in light of the Bible.
With this in mind let us look at our lesson for today.
God The Son Is Love
Jesus is God and therefore love.
There is no doubt that Jesus is God like the Father and the Spirit.
This means there is no doubt that Jesus is love.
1 Jn 4:
Jesus manifested this love toward us.
He willingly gave up heaven, for a time, to come down to this sin riddled earth for each of us.
Heb 12:
He willingly sacrificed His life for ours so that we might have redemption.
Jesus manifested “love” toward each and every one of us.
Summery
Jesus’ love motivated His desire to be personal with us and thus...
Alexander, Caesar, Charlemagne, and myself founded empires; but what foundation did we rest the creations of our genius?
Upon force.
Jesus Christ founded an empire upon love; and at this hour millions of men would die for Him.
God The Son Is Personal
Jesus is personally there with us through good and bad.
He didn’t come to this earth and die in our place because He doesn’t want to be close to us.
Heb 2:11
When we go through tough times He is there with us; when we go through good time He is there with us.
Heb
When we go through tough times He is there with us; when we go through good time He is there with us.
Mt 25:37-
Jesus did everything possible to be with us.
Jesus so desires a personal relationship with His creation that He has done everything possible to achieve such.
Jesus so desires a personal relationship with His creation that He has done everything possible to achieve such.
He began this by becoming the propitiation for our sins.
He continues this by being our mediator and intercessor.
Jesus’ relationship with us is 24/7
When we go through tough times He is there and when we go through good times He is there.

Jesus didn’t go through everything for no reason.
Jesus didn’t come to this earth, die in our place, and go through all He did for no reason.
He did it because He wants a close personal relationship with each of us, so much so He thinks of the righteous as “friends” and “brethren.”
Summery
Jesus’ love for us spur His desire to have a personal relationship with us and be personal to us therefore.
All this is possible because...
God The Son Is Strong
Jesus was mentally courageous.
He knew the extreme challenges that awaited Him and came anyway.
Php
On earth He knew the extreme pain and agony He would endure and went through it anyway.
Jesus was strong against Satan.
He took on Satan, suffered, but ultimately won.
Heb
Summery
The love of Jesus and drive for a personal relationship was possible because of the great courage and strength Jesus demonstrated.
How much stronger is our “Lord & Savior” now having been through it all and having come out the other side perfectly?
Conclusion
Napoleon Bonaparte once stated...
Alexander, Caesar, Charlemagne, and myself founded empires; but what foundation did we rest the creations of our genius?
Upon force.
Jesus Christ founded an empire upon love; and at this hour millions of men would die for Him.
