The Opposition was not from God (v.7)

Paul did not start to have problems until he gave his life to Christ
The Lord allowed the thorn to humble Paul
God gave him the grace and power to overcome the thorn, but he did not take away.

Grace is perfected in our imperfections (v.9)

Grace is God’s unmerited favor, His goodness toward those who have no claim on, nor reason to expect, divine favor. The form of a gift
Everyday we wake up it’s by God’s grace
Always have a reason to thank the Lord no matter situation (Break down) car, bus, walking etc
says, Let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need
When we get to a place where we can’t take it know more give it to Christ.
We must be honest.

Boast in weakness don’t Brag on strength (v.9)

Paul indicated his (reluctant) willingness to boast about his weaknesses. His first dramatic example was his humiliating exit from Damascus (11:32–33); the second is his permanent receipt of a debilitating “thorn.”
The weaker we are the stronger God become within us.
Instead of getting angry about the thorn, he relished on how weak it made him, why? why should we do that? It kept him in close dependence on the power of God.

The tougher our problems, the greater the grace (v.10)

Don’t be discouraged when we go through something
, says count it all joy
, says don’t be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you, as though something strange were happening to you.
Just remember when we are going through trials the Lord is up to something
Trust in the Lord through it all.
