Zechariah's praise of obedience -- Luke 1:67-80

Advent 2018  •  Sermon  •  Submitted   •  Presented   •  51:37

Zechariah comes face to face with Gabriel, who tells him of the fulfilment of a two-thousand year old prophecy in which he and his wife have a part to play. Zechariah's distrust leads to nine-months of enforced silence, which is broken by his obedience, leading to the powerful hymn of praise known as the Benedictus. Knowledge follows obedience for Zechariah, and for us. As always, we hear testimonies first, and the sermon starts at 11:45.
