Introduction
Greetings...
As most of you know we have been studying “The Glorious Church Of Christ” within the pages of Paul’s letter to the Ephesians in our Prison Epistles Series and so far we have determined..
The body or church of Christ is that which has been eternally planned ().
When we are “outside of Christ’s body” we are dead in our trespasses and sins which is why it is so important to be a part of the “body of Christ” ().
God made it possible to “enter into the eternally planned church” through the blood of Christ and His Law it created which unified all the peoples both Jew and Gentile ().
This “unity of the spirit” keeps the bond of peace through adhering to the “calling to which you have been called” through proper leadership in the “The Glorious Church Of Christ” ().
Those under proper leadership those that are “made new in Christ” are expected to walk “not in futility of mind” but “according to truth and love (:-5:21) as well as sacrifice and submission to one another” ().
God’s discourse on sacrifice and submission, through Paul, is where we continue today after already looking at the “Husband/Wife Relationship.”
That brings us to God’s short excerpt on the relationship between “Parents & Children.”
With that in mind let’s examine our lesson.
God Fearing Fathers
Fathers are to care for their kids physical needs.
It is a father’s responsibility to care for his family’s physical needs.
This includes, but isn’t limited to, providing their shelter, clothing, food, safety.
We have far too many “dads” abandoning the family they helped create.
“According to the 2017 Census Bureau, out of about 12 million single parent families with children under the age of 18, more than 80% were headed by single mothers.”

Fathers are to care for their kids spiritual needs.
Fathers, not mothers, are responsible for leading children in spiritual matters.
It is disturbing to know, as many families as I do in the Lord’s church, that have only mothers truly “providing real spiritual guidance.”
However, this isn’t what Paul told the church in our text.
It’s the father that is to “bring the children up…in the Lord.”
It’s the father that is to “bring the children up…in the Lord.”
This means fathers are responsible for making sure their kid are getting...

It is a mother that makes the place where her children live into a “home.”
She does this by providing a safe and comfortable place.
