The only father God we just come before you this morning Lord as always just thanking you got for who you are and ability. We have to just lift our voices hi to you father. Let that be our desire God is he just trust and obey your word gotten your commands as a song says God there is no other way to be happy in Jesus. God unless we got trust and Obey what's your word says? Probably just as we continue on and worship you would guide and direct our hearts and our minds that we would just have a desire to learn from you this morning based on our conversation. There are out your sermon last week and then also on just the other the Christmas holiday that is coming. The Christmas holiday is all about a demonstration of God's love, you know, as we as we decorated the church this Friday night and I want to thank all of you that came and help decorate the church as we put up the tree and every year and you you may not have noticed that maybe you did or not because I don't know if the the top of Tree is the first place you look are you look at the lights are the decorations. But but every year here in any Bible as was a tradition in our home Ginger and Ice home. And since I've been the pastor here, it's been a tradition here at the church. We talked the tree with a crown of thorns and we top the tree with a crown of thorns because the the gift that was given on Christmas or of Jesus Christ. The reason that that he came was born as a humble servant in a Manger to to live a perfect life of obedience a sinless life was because he was appointed to the cross the whole entire time that the cross was the ultimate goal to pay the penalty for your sins and my sins so that we could be saved the cross was the ultimate demonstration of God's love is it says in Romans that he demonstrated his love for us. And that while we were yet sinners Christ died.

Christmas is all about God's love and it's all we everything has always been about love. It will always be about love when it comes to God. It has Francis Chan said God's greatest commandment to us and the second that is just like it. Jesus said was all about love that we would love God and we would love people but here's the problem. It's really easy to say I love Jesus. I love Jesus. I mean that's that's really easy to say and I I hear people say it all the time to say, I love Jesus. Do you love Jesus?

I'm reminded when I when I hear that of a story I once heard of a couple that was kind of on the rocks and they were seeing a counselor in the the woman was asked by The Counselor will how do you know that this guy loves you? And the woman said to the counselor will he tells me he does he says he loves me. Is that a measure of love in a relationship?

No matter how I treat you no matter how I what I do no matter what anything is as long as I tell you. I loved you then. That means I love does that mean I love you.

And does that mean we love Jesus by just saying we love Jesus?

How do we measure our love for God? How do we measure our love for Jesus? Is there some way to quantify it? If I only got it and left us some way to measure our love for Jesus that we say we have if only there was a way That there is a way and God reveals that way in his word.

You don't have to turn to these couple verses we're going to turn together two of them pretty lengthy passes here in a little bit. But in in John Chapter 14 verse 15, listen to what Jesus said. He said if you love me you will keep my Commandments. Before you yell that's waiting ilysm or that's religion. Let me yell back down. Let me call Emily. Let me lovingly but let me firmly say back to you know, that's Jesus talking.

You see legalism and religion says that you must do things. You must be obedient. In order to earn God's love that's legalism that's religion man. Working his way to God, but Jesus said that that you are obedience to what he's told you is a measure of your love for him. if you love me Jesus says don't he says obey my commandment. I would want Jesus and his relationship to be in a in a counselors type situation in the counter to ask Jesus. What how do you know that he loves you Jesus? Well, he he tells me he does. Jesus says no if you love me you will keep my Commandments.

But it's not just here in the Gospel of John that that's said in in first John chapter 2 verses 3 to 6. Listen to what it says says and by this we know that we've come to know him if we keep his Commandments.

Whoever says I know him but does not keep you keep his Commandments. It is a liar and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps his word in him truly. The love of God is perfected by this. We know that we are in him. Whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he want now listen to go back and please the last one. This is not saying if you send if you stumble if you if you mess up that somehow you are taken out of your relationship with Jesus Christ. That's not what this is saying.

But this is saying this is a measure that this is a this is a way of us seeing our love for him of assuring of one way of assuring our Salvation. Is that week that we keep his Commandments? If we say I know him, but but we have no interest in following what he says. I don't know that the Bible gives us an assurance that we actually know him.

There's always this always baffles me when I went when I've used this example before playing golf and I but it's not just playing golf. If I if I think about the Sports World or I think about other areas of life use football, for example, Spent a lot of time playing football and and there are people that just that just know everything there is to know about football. I mean they know every rule they know every formation. They know every defense they know every offense they they know all this kind of stuff and they know what to do and when they're supposed to do it and who's supposed to be doing what and all these things and and they follow the other the letter of the the the the football rules. They just follow the letter of the law of right to the T. Amanda if you step outside of those lines are no no, no, that's not how it's supposed to be done. That's not what the way that's supposed to work. That's not the way to do and they get fired up about it. Why because they love football.

They love football. They love this Sport and they think they care about the sport and so they care about how it's played and they care about the Integrity of the game and they care about making sure things happen a certain way and all those things because they love that Sports and people are willing to just go to battle for for a sports and they're willing to subject themselves to all kinds of rules and they're willing to subject us to spend time watching it and they're willing to spend time studying it and read books about it, and they're willing to do just do all this stuff. I got there like all the the Bible so restrictive. The Bible mean it's it's just a set of rules that you want me to spend time going to church on Sunday and you want me to spend time reading the but I just don't have time in my life. It's because

there's an issue with our hearts.

It's because our love is misplaced.

It's because we care for other things more than God. Remember the first commandment Francis Chan mentioned that the first commandment is it we would love the Lord Our God with all of our hearts are sold in arm my butt but too much of the time or like while of other things that much but give a little bit of love to God.

So that's not love. That's not the love that that God desires.

It's not the love that God desires a measure of our love is is is in how much? We obey his commands because that because he has chosen to love us as we're Romans 12-1 said because we we get an accurate view of his mercy and we know how much he's loved us and he's chosen us and he has he has given us this relationship with him, even though we are utterly undeserving of his love because of that we choose to offer our bodies as a Living Sacrifice. Holy and pleasing acceptable in his sight. Romans 12 says that one says that that's a logical response from us.

You see if we love him. Jesus says we will obey his commands if we know him then we will obey his command if we're found in him. We will walk the way Jesus walk 1st. John 5 2 2 3 even takes it even further. He said this is a measure of how we know that we love other people who are believers. How do we know when if we love other believers well by this we know that we love the children of God when we love God, how do we know? We love God, we obey his command and he repeats it and obey his Commandments for this is the love of God that we keep his Commandments and we say, please keep at their second Aaron but this is how we know that we love others. I I love I always pick on DeLand cuz he's there but I love Dave and Marlene because I treat them I obey the word of God and how I treat them. I want to be patient with them and try to loving I don't act out of anger towards them. I love Heidi bye-bye how I care for her or whatever whatever they got its commands in every situation. That's how I know. I love her. It's a measure of my love for God. It's a measure of my love for others within the kingdom by obeying his commands. It's a measure. He's given us a measuring stick. It's his word. Are we being obedient to it? And listen to what he says his Commandments are not burdensome.

And when I read that and you read that you say Will Wait a Minute. Actually, actually they are burned some sometimes. I think about Mary and Joseph who we talked about last week. Remember? Hey Mary, even though you're just engaged in your a virgin and and and even though this is pretty much going to wreck your life for the next 9 months socially and with your family and you're going to Bear the son of God. And it hey Joseph. I'm your what Your wife-to-be is pregnant. It's not your kid. It's actually God's child. She she wasn't with another man. She's actually telling the truth. She's going to Bear the Son of God and you're going to raise them as your own that feels a little burdensome to me. As they were traveling to to to Bethlehem on the back of that donkey as she was almost ready to give birth a couple days from giving birth. That seems a little burdensome to me.

But when we step back and look at the grand scheme of things.

What an honor? To Bear the King of Kings and the Lord of lords. What a privilege Mary and Joseph had to have the son of the Living God be raised in their household to call them. Mommy and daddy. What a privilege when we step back and look at the grand scheme of things considered God's word as a set of guardrails that God put in place to keep us from second-best. Do you understand that? But that's really what the word of God is. God wants the best for your life. He came to give you life and that you may have life more abundantly. He knows what the best life is for you and he's set these guardrails of his word in place so that you wouldn't miss out on the best.

Or obedience is up is a matter of trust. It's an example of trust. That we we really do believe that he knows what's best that we really do trust him that he's our loving have a heavenly father and when we take a step back, we realized that his Commandments actually orange burdensome. Although it may seem that way at the time of video popped up on my Newsfeed this week and it was really interesting because it was this guy that had six daughters. He raised his wife Rhea six daughters. And when one of the daughters was 17, they were driving in the car together and the daughter was driving and I don't know where they were going, but it was very evident to the dad that the that the daughter was upset with him until he's like, hey, honey, you know, I can seem like you're upset. No one finds it. Does that ever happened? Hey Ginger, are you? Okay? I'm fine. Okay, good. You're not fine. For some reason. That's are that's our first response. Right? Are you? Okay? Yeah. I'm okay, but I just never talk to me like that. But so but so they were they were driving in the car in the dads will I will I done seen that you're upset honey, and it seems like you're upset with me can are you upset with me? And she said yeah I am. And he said wolf. Why are you upset? What's what's the problem? And she said well Dad. There was a party this past weekend. And none of my friends invited me to it. He said well, I'm sorry to hear that like she said well, that's not that she said I asked them why they didn't invite me and they said because you they knew that you wouldn't approve of their daughter or your daughter being at a party like this and so they didn't even invite me. He said well, he said I'm sorry that you've been excluded based on my reputation or based on what's known about me. He said but let me ask you a couple questions would there have been in the use and misuse of alcohol at this party and she goes yeah. And he goes would there have been the you send Miss You So illegal drugs at this party. And she said yeah there was and he said we'll would there have been inappropriate physical relationships happening at this party and she said yeah. They're there were And he said I'm glad you were invited to that party and I'm glad you weren't there. And as they sat there and talked a little bit more. He said he said honey. Do you do you think that we need to revisit some of the rules that we have in our house? after kind of a lengthy pause the seventeen-year-old daughter said no dad. I actually like the rules that you have for our house the rules that you have are good rules. Thank you for having them in place. Is he in the moment God's commands seemed burdensome when when our friends don't understand when I go workers think we're strange when when maybe our spouse doesn't even agree with us in the moment sometime God's guardrail seem burdensome. But if we take a step back, We see that they God's guardrails are just like he is they are good. In the moment since he was more enjoyable than obeying. God does it not? That's actually the title of that that that video by Francis Chan and I don't even listen to the rest of the video because I I like that beginning so much. I knew I wanted to use it today. What's the title of that video was When sin seems more enjoyable than God And let's just be honest for a moment. If sin didn't see more enjoyable than God, would you ever send? No, you wouldn't in the moment since seems more enjoyable than obeying. God does but when we take a step back. When we take a step back and realize that God has placed these guardrails in place. We realize that that's in although in the temporary may seem enjoyable and God's commands in the temporary may seem burdensome. That is exactly the opposite way around.

And that's where we have a choice in that moment. And that's where last week. We kind of left with where I said that the the Christian life is really simple. It's not easy but it's simple we we we are given a command we are instructed on how to live and we have a choice as to whether to obey it or not. And I don't want you to just take my word for it because we we kind of got pressed for time last week and I don't want you just to say will pastor Joe said we have a choice. So so therefore I believe it no. Don't take my word for it. I want you to see from God's word where we have a choice where we don't have to sin anymore where where we are not under the power of sin anymore. So turn with me to Romans chapter 6. We're going to read this section. We're actually read the whole chapter pretty much and then we're going to come and just break down a couple things. within that chapter because I want us to see from God's word.

This choice that we have the Simplicity of the Christian faith. So Romans chapter 6 we got Matthew Mark Luke John acts Romans. That's the sixth book of the New Testament the 6 chapter. We're going to start reading inverse one. So if you'd read with me, it says what shall we say then are we to continue in sin? So that Grace May abound by no means how can we who died to sin still live in it? Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death. We were buried there for with him by baptism into death in order that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the father we to my walk in the newness of life. what if we have been United with him in a death like his we shall certainly be United with him in a resurrection like his we know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing. So that we would no longer being slave to sin. For one who has died has been set free from sin. Now we have died with Christ. We believe that we will also live with him. We know that Christ being raised from the dead will never die again death no longer has dominion over him for the Desi died. He died to sin once and for all but the life he lives he lives to God. So you also must consider yourself dead to sin and alive to God in Christ. Jesus. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body to make you obey its passions do not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from Death to life and your members to God as instruments for righteousness. For sin will have no dominion over you since you are not under the law. But under grace what then are we to sin because we are not under the law but under grace by no means. Do you not know that if you present yourselves that anyone is obedient slaves you are slaves to the one you will obey either of us in which leads to death or of obedience which leads to righteousness but thanks be to God that you were once slaves you who were once slaves as Sin had become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed and having been set free from sin. You have become slaves of righteousness. I'm speaking in human terms because of your natural limitations for just as you were once per day for just as you once presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness leading to more lawlessness. So now present your members as slaves to righteousness, meaning of sanctification and the last 4 verses say this for when you were slaves of seeing you were free in regard to righteousness, but what fruit were you getting at? What fruit are you getting at that time from the things of which you are now ashamed for the end of those things is death. But now that you have been set free from sin and it becomes slaves of God the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end eternal life for the wages of sin is death. But the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ, Jesus our lord. I love this passage of scripture in Romans 6 and then the one of the best rated one of the best things I like about it is the repetition of a VS1 and vs2. He says in verse 1 and then he repeats the the idea and verse 15. He says shall we go on sinning? So that Grace may increase so another words as I send more God's grace is even more is Grace a bath soap. If I keep on sending will then his grace just keeps getting bigger and bigger. I mean, so maybe I should just send all the more and there were people that were living like that and people that were believing that he says by no means another word. No way. That's not how it works. Just in case you didn't get any repeats and inverse 15. The first 15 he says so are we just say we're not under the law anymore under grace and we can do what we want, right? He says by no means By no means we as it says in verse for air and you don't have to flip through the things just to make it easy on you. But in verse for he says we were very but we were raised to the newness of life when we when we baptize someone we went and we put them under the water. We say buried with Christ risen to newness of life. And we don't just make those words up. It comes straight from here and Romans 6 chapter 4 that we are to walk in the newness of Life 1st Peter. 2:24 says this it says that the we are to that he himself bore our sins in his body on the tree that we might die to sin and live unto righteousness. Then we are to live a new life. That's what we are to do when we come to know Christ. We are to live a new life before we know Christ. We are we are ruled. We are Master. We are under the control of our sin nature. We are slaves to our sin nature. That's what it says in verse 6. It says that the we were that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. Well, if no longer enslaved to sin that means that we were once enslaved to sin. This is this is this expression of our sin nature. Our old self. It comes up several different times in the New Testament, but it always means the the demand of older are corrupt human nature are inborn tendency to do evil or do sin to be sinful when we say this all the time. If you've been around children, you don't have to teach your children to be selfish, right? You you get two children in a room together and and their natural inclination. If he with her toy, you don't have to teach him that that's inside of them. If you don't think it applies to Children, how about this? When when when when someone tells you no, don't do that. What's your first reaction? To do that. Come on. That's an inborn. That's an inborn desire in all of us to do the wrong think that's our sin nature that is because Adam and Eve chose to sing. We were all born with a sinful nature.

But Romans 6 tells us this.

That our old self our sin nature was crucified when we came to know Christ. When we heard the gospel message the good news of Jesus Christ that even though we are sinners Christ died on the cross for us and then if we would believe in him and put our trust in him is our savior that we would be saved. When when we heard the moment when we heard the the the the good news as it says in Ephesians 1 the moment that we believe and we were saying our old man our sin nature was crucified.

And think about this when something is crucified it doesn't cease to exist anymore. It's still there. Is still there. I still have the desire to the inborn desire to rebell to do things wrong dead to sin. I still have that desire but when something is crucified it is rendered powerless. That's what that mean that are. There are sin nature when we come to know Christ was rendered powerless. It was it was put to death it was We Were released from the bondage of sin. We would no longer be slaves to our sin nature in the other words. You don't have to send any more. And that's the truth. You are set free other passages of scripture say it was for Freedom that Christ set us free. We are now free to do what is right.

We are now free to obey God. We are set free from the bondage of sin.

We don't have to be controlled or mastered. We don't have to we are not brought under the power or under the slave of anything. We are no longer under control of our sin nature.

And you know it as I read through this as I read verse 8 as it says we've died with Christ. We are to live with him. We've been set free. It says in verse 7 from sin. And now we are to live with him. But do we always do that? Sometimes we're like, I'll be obedient here. I'll be obedient with these things that I agree with butt over here with these things. I still really like to do. I not going to be so obedient in those areas.

We can't live like we're both dead and alive. We are to count ourselves dead to sin. That's what it says in verse 11 consider yourself dead to sin consider yourself alive to Christ alive to God in Christ Jesus. We are to not let sin reign in our mortal body anymore. This is I love this he goes on and says don't offer the body parts of your body parts to send instead offer them to righteousness and other don't be a slave to sin anymore when you and I since it's because we make a conscious choice to choose sin over obedience in God or obedience to God. I heard a pastor one time I think was James McDonald that did this set it like this and this is how we view send a lot of times. I wish I had one of those donuts from out there one because they're Dunkin Donuts now and they're much better but too because it's a great example if I was holding a donut and I knew I wasn't supposed to eat the donut like I don't want to eat this donut. I don't want to eat this. I'm not going to need this. I'm not going to eat this not going to eat this donut. I'm not going to eat this donut and we end up eating a donut in in in life so much, Like I'm not going to do this since I'm not going to do this saying I'm not going to do this. Then I'm not going to do this Center in front of me and I just keep thinking about it and I get closer and closer and eventually I just end up sending

appalled tells us a new way here. He says listen instead of just say I'm not going to do this. He says offer your bodies in Stead to Christ James MacDonald said instead of just saying I'm not going to eat this donut say I am going to eat this apple. You replace it and you replace the the negative behavior the thing you don't want to do you replace it with what is right and so I'm not going to send instead I'm going to do what God wants me to do. How do we know what God wants us to do we read his word. That's the Simplicity of the Christian Life. We read how he wants us to live and who he wants us to be and we read it and we have the choice to obey.

We have the choice to obey but there's a problem.

In verse 19 Paul says I'm speaking in human terms because of your natural imitation. I I love another translation. I think it's the new King James. He says I put this in human terms because you are weak and your natural selves. I don't know about you. I'm like, wait a minute Paul. I'm not weak. Don't be offended. It's true. In our natural selves, we are weak. You don't know how many times I have gotten myself in trouble because I've known what was wrong and I've known what was right and I thought I could stand as close as I could what was wrong because I'm Joe Rose, man. I can do it. I got this I'm strong enough God. I'm not going to fall in this got I got this. No, I don't I'm weak in my human and in my natural self Paul himself admitted this when when he said he did the things he didn't want to do in things. He he didn't want to do he he did those in the things that he did want to do. We didn't do those things enough. He wasn't using it as an excuse for since he was admitting his weakness and if we rely on our natural selves, we will fail this constant cycle of sin confess repent repeat.

But Paul gives us a better way stop offering yourself to send instead offer yourself to God and his righteousness.

But we can't do it on our own. That's why I fusions 518 talks about being filled with the holy spirit being under his control. That's why it's so important to moment-by-moment to be being continually filled with the spirit.

That's why it's so important to come to church and to be surrounded by other believers and beef and courage. That's why it's important to belong to a life group to be there in to pray with one another and read the words together and be in fellowship with other believers. That's why it's important what we watch on the TV and what we listen to on the radio or wherever we listen to it.

We need to fill ourselves with him with his word. Allow his Spirit to fill us.

Listen God is giving us every tool we need to live a life of obedience is giving us his word which sets the standard which tells us how we're supposed to live. These freed us from the bondage of sin.

PC set that pass out before as he's giving us his holy spirit to to help us do what's right. He's he's giving us each other to hold each other accountable and now the choice is ours. It's really simple. It's not easy. But it's really simple.

So let me ask you this question as we come to the clothes in his worship team comes forward.

Do you love Jesus?

Do you love him? I'm not saying have you said you loved him?

But how is your life look? Are you being obedient to his word?

Are you are are you when you're faced with those choices to two to do what's right or to do what's wrong according to him? What are you doing?

I'm not saying by choosing the right thing. You're going to somehow his love now. There's nothing we can do to earn his love. But because of your love for him are you doing what's right?

Are you being obedient to his word?

this Paul said I believe it was to the Corinthian Church. He said examine yourselves. To see if you're in the face. Listen today. Where are you at in your relationship with him?

If you placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your savior and you claim his forgiveness and you claim to be his child. Are you obeying him? If not confess today. Agree with what he says in his word. Agree that that did that whatever it is that he's bringing to your mind agree that it's not what he wants us what confession really means we agree with his assessment. We say God, I agree. It's wrong. Repent of it today turn from it. Ask him today to fill you with his spirit and help you to not do whatever it is again.

You here today? And you never begun that Journey with God if you never placed your faith in him as your savior. I pray today would be the day.

Where you would admit your sin before God? Did you would confess with your mouth today that Jesus is the Lord that did that God sent him on Christmas. It ain't in the manger so that he would live a sinless life and die death on the cross that you and I deserve because of our sin. That you would believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead on the third day. And today you would be saved.

And that you would commit today that God I don't want no. I don't want any longer want what what what I wanted before. I only want what you want. Help me to be obedient.

I pray that all of us today would would stop this cycle of sin confess repent sin confess repent. Then we would break that cycle. And today we would just stop looking at the sin as something that is desirable and we would start offering ourselves to God. Is offering ourselves to to to his way. Offering ourselves to righteousness the right kind of living. That's what God desires perfect righteousness. He knows that that's what's best. I said it last week, but he also knows you and me and he he knows that that that we will stumble. He desires our obedience and he desires it perfectly but he knows that we will stumble and he's willing to help us up.

Are we are we doing this obedience thing increasingly in our lives? None of us has done at us for perfectly. But are we doing it increasingly? if you're here today, and you send for the hundredth time confess it turn away from it and find your heavenly father right there with his arms wide open ready to receive you if you've never done that before I pray today that you would Confess Christ as Lord believe in your heart today that God raised him from the dead so that you two might be saved was bow our heads.

Brother as we come before you today.

That we just thank you.

We thank you for your love for us. I think back to that video at the beginning today got into a couple awesome pictures. Have your love for us?

Can I pray that we? we share the enthusiasm of

that lady's daughter April.

That we would share that enthusiasm as we see the love that you've given us and how you adopted us into your family. When we trust Christ is our savior. And even though we don't deserve it that you have welcomed us as one of your own.

And that we would cry out indeed it is good to cry out. I love you Jesus. Tell us we thank you for your love that we also would express our love to you. But God that it will be confirmed in our life. By obedience to what you've told us to do.

God we pray that our words and our life with with matchup

and God, we just pray that today as we enter this time of worship the God you would.

Help the words that come out of our mouths if they don't entirely line up with our life right now. May we use this time? May we use these songs as a as a prayer to 2 to ask you God to make our hearts in line with what they say.

God we

we ask that you would draw near to us during this time. some of us need forgiveness for the first time some of us can eat forgiveness maybe for the hundredth time. We just need to experience that forgiveness in you.

Some of us need that that that those loving arms of a father to pick us up and dust us off. and tell us that that did you just love us no matter what?

some of us need that that firm encouragement to to repent God whatever it is that we need may may this time of worship. Let me you just be exactly what we need.

We honor you and we praise you today in Jesus name. Amen, would you stand and worship together?

Send the verse of Lord. I need you.

And where are you? Where are you?

Lord I need you.

Bow Wow

Where sin runs your grace is more.

Where are you?

song to rise to you

Jo-Ann's impatient comes my way.

When I can stand out.

Jesus you're my home and stay. I guess when I care about you.

You're my only chance you you're my alarm. You're my other one less bright. Father we thank you that you are our defense. You are righteousness. God I pray that every single one of us here would understand God. That we have a choice.

That we would not feel enslaved to send that if we feel that way then God we would understand that that if we are a believer in Jesus Christ, then then we have been set free from that. We have been set free from the bondage of sin and we have been set free to

live In righteousness, we have been set free to make the right choice.

God I pray that we would not live in bondage to send that. We would not offer ourselves since we've been set free that we would not offer ourselves to send anymore.

Then we will believe your word that says we are a new creation in Christ. The old is gone. The new has come.

And we would die to sin once and for all. And live unto righteousness.

God I pray that. In those moments where we fall?

Then we would quickly confess. We would quickly repent and we would most assuredly quickly find you there. Your Loving Arms Wide Open that we would experience the Forgiveness that you've given us.

Then we would know Lord that you still love us. They do would renew a commitment in us to do what you say we should do. That we should not do what you tell us not to.

Pray that you would fill us with your spirit in that moment that we might be empowered to live, right?

God we pray this all For Your Glory.

So that our lives would be a testimony of your grace and your power and your love.

And your greatness?

That we give you the praise with our lips today as we prepare to leave, but we ask that our lives would give you glory each and every day this coming week and from here on out. We thank you and we praise you in Jesus name. Amen. You are dismissed.
