Sermon 177 Behold I Make All Things New.
What a wonderful season it is to celebrate the birth of the savior of the world Jesus Christ.
I hope that each of you received a gift from the heart of someone that loves you and desires to see you happy and content.
New things are a great gift aren’t they?
It seems that now mankind believes they have it all figured out.
We live in the information age, anything that you desire to know man seems to have an educated guess about the truth of the question.
There is always someone willing to say “I know the answer to that” with bold pride.
The first words in the Bible describe our beginning and the last words tell us of our ending.
In the middle we find knowledge and description of everything that God desires us to know.
In the beginning, ending and the in-between my natural life follows the pattern that God has fore-ordained.
When I was a child I didn’t know anything.
Job 8:9 (For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow:)
1Co 4:4 For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
1Co 8:2 And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.
Jesus was and still is a new thing also

Mar 1:27 And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.
Mat 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
2Co 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
Heb 10:20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

Life without Christ and new things.
Life with Christ and new things.
