“Waiting for Your Ship to Coming in”
Illustration
Two parents are talking about their son, Tony ...
Mom:  I'm worried about Tony.Dad:  He seems to be stuck in a rut.
He's twenty-five years old and works at a fast food restaurant.
He spends his free time playing video games and partying with his friends.Mom:
He doesn't seem to understand that a person needs to work hard and study to be successful in life.Dad:  He just sits and waits for his ship to come in.

We have Luke gospel in this section teaching what the kingdom is really about beginning with :
    a.
The kingdom must centre on the cross of Jesus ()
    b.
The kingdom must come in the hearts of men ()
    c.
The kingdom must grow through the rest of history (19:11-27)
    d.
The kingdom must reach to the ends of the earth (19:39-44)
He turns his readers’  attention away from the political transformation of society to the spiritual transformation of the soul, which must precede it; the kingdom must first come to the human heart.
So many are waiting for their ship to come in
A Summons to All the Earth: Acknowledge and Receive the Lord,
In a very practical sense, this psalm teaches us the actual purpose of the church: to joyfully express praise and thanksgiving to God, to present ourselves for God’s service, and to urge all people of the earth to come into a relationship with God through His Son.
1. Acknowledge the Lord (Yahweh, Jehvovah): Praise Him alone (vv.
1-2).
2. Receive the Lord: Confess (know) that He is the only true God (v.
3).
3. Enter the Lord’s presence, His temple, with a thankful heart (vv.
4-5).
Your ship is in when you belongs to God (, ).
Now, both the church and our bodies are designated as the house of God ().
“Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord” ().
“Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord” ().
“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching” ().
“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light” ().
“Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God” ().
“I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord” ().
