We looked at the interlude between the 6th & 7th Trumpet.
We saw John eat a book that was sweet to his lips, but bitter to his stomach.
We also saw the two witnesses who were killed for their testimony.
Who laid dead in the middle of the street for all to see
Who were revived by the breath of God
Who brought fear to everyone who witnessed this miraculous event.
We also heard the 7th Trumpet blown
The Kingdoms of this world were handed over to the Father and His Christ
The 24 Elders fell down in worship
The Temple of God was opened
The Ark of the Covenant was visible
There were Natural Events that cosigned everything that was going on in Heaven

THIS WEEK
We are going to get a little summary of Biblical World History.
Mostly Bad Guys and a Girl
We are going to look at some things that involve Satan and the Church
We will be introduced to what scholars call the “UnHoly Trinity”.
TURN TO
1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. 2 Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth.
3 And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. 4 His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. 5 She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne. 6 Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.
7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”
13 Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child. 14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. 15 So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. 16 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. 17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. 2 Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And all the world marveled and followed the beast. 4 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?”
5 And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. 6 Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. 7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear. 10 He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth—by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. 15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.
PRAY THAT WE WOULD HAVE UNDERSTANDING
PRAY THAT WOULD SEE THE VALUE IN OUR CALLING AS CHRISTIANS TODAY
PRAY THAT WE WOULD HAVE A HIGH VALUE OF JESUS

WHO IS THIS WOMAN?
ANY GUESSES?
WHO IS THIS SPEAKING OF?
WHAT DO WE KNOW?
She is a woman clothed with the sun
The moon is under her feet
On her head, she had a garland with 12 stars
She was with child
She was in labor and in pain to give birth, aka contractions.
THEN JOHN SAW ANOTHER SIGN IN HEAVEN
A great and fiery dragon
Having 7 Heads, 10 Horns, 7 Diadems on his head
His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven
And threw them to the earth.

What else did this Dragon do?
The Dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth
For what?
To devour the child as soon as it was born
By the Grace of God
The Woman bore the Male Child
Who was to rule the nations with a Rod of Iron
Sound familiar?
THE CHILD WAS CAUGHT UP TO GOD AND HIS THRONE
Then the woman fled into the wilderness
Where she has a place prepared by God
A place where she should be preserved 1,260 days.
CHURCH THIS IS THE STORY OF SATAN, ISRAEL, AND JESUS
WHO IS SATAN?
We are clued in to who this Dragon was
HE IS THE DRAGON
We are clued in to who this Dragon was
Satan working through Herod to destroy Jesus
Satan who had fallen from Heaven as puts it
Satan who had fallen from Heaven as puts it
Jesus, speaking of His Preeminence, and his witness to what happened in Heaven, spoke of this in the Gospel of Luke

18 And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.
Here in Revelation we are also clued in to how many angels Satan led astray.
It speaks of how his tail drew a third of the stars of heaven with him.
WHO IS THE WOMAN?
There are a couple of possibilities, but it comes down to two groups of people
Israel or the Church
What points to those two solutions?
We also see the Woman having the Male Child
She was with child
A Child who was to rule all the nations with a rod of iron
Who was raised from the dead and caught up to the throne of God
Causing the woman to flee into the wilderness.
I see it as this
Either the woman is speaking of Israel
Or it is speaking of the Church
Or both, since Mary was part of the church
I see it as this
The Woman is sinful humanity
Birthing the Salvifical plans of God
Then being preserved by God in the Wilderness for a period of time.
THE CHILD IS JESUS
Who would be known to rule the nations with a rod of iron as spoken of in , and earlier in this book in , and later in
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DRAGON?
7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

WAR BROKE OUT IN HEAVEN
Then this would confirm your belief of God’s preservation of the church from the wrath
MICHAEL AND HIS ANGELS FOUGHT WITH THE DRAGON AND HIS ANGELS
BUT THEY DID NOT PREVAIL
HEAVEN HAD NO PLACE FOR THEM ANY LONGER
SO THE DRAGON WAS CAST OUT OF HEAVEN
HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SATAN:
He is jealous of the Christian
He was the most beautiful of all created beings
Yet his pride stained his beauty
His pride led to his banishment from Heaven
His pride led to his jealousy, envy, and his plans to derail all who put there trust in Jesus.
He is pretty upset at how things are going to play out
He is The Deceiver of the World
He is the Accuser of the Brethren
His whole agenda is to steal, kill, and destroy
He causes division
We need to be aware of his schemes.
We need to put on the armor that protects us from the fiery darts
We need to call upon the name of the Lord, that He would save us from what Satan is trying to do.
JOHN THEN HEARD A LOUD VOICE FROM HEAVEN
CHECK OUT WHAT THE VOICE SAID:
Salvation and Strenght
The Kingdom of our God
The Power of His Christ have come
The Accuser of the Brethren, who, he accused day and night, has been cast down
THERE WAS SOMETHING DIFFERENT ABOUT THOSE WHO OVERCAME
JUST LIKE TODAY, THOSE WHO TRUSTED IN THE LORD, HAD CERTAIN QUALITIES
They Overcame the Accuser by the Blood of the Lamb
And the Word of their Testimony
And they did not love their life to the death
For every accusation that Satan makes, the Blood of Christ speaks a better word
For every time he brings up your past, the testimony of what Jesus has done is greater
Just like these, we should not love our life to the death
There should be a sobering reality that Heaven is better than all this world has to offer
Jesus said:
25 He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. 26 If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.
THEN HIM WHO WAS SPEAKING DIRECTS HIS VOICE TO ALL OF HEAVEN AND EARTH
TO HEAVEN HE SAYS
Rejoice, O Heavens, and all you who dwell in it
BUT TO THE EARTH HE SAYS;
Woe to you inhabitants of the Earth and the Sea
For the Devil has come down to you
Having Great Wrath
Because he knows his time is limited.
SO WHAT DID THE DRAGON DO?
REV 12:13-
13 Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child. 14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. 15 So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. 16 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. 17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
WHEN THE DRAGON NOTICED WHAT HAD BEEN DONE TO HIM
He begins to persecute the Woman
The Woman is given two wings, like that of a great eagle.
That she may fly into the wilderness to her place
It could be the Church, God’s People
Where she is nourished for a time and times and a half a time.
Usually that time frame stands for 3.5 years.
SO THE SERPENT SPEWED WATER OUT OF ITS MOUTH, LIKE A FLOOD.
DESIRING THAT THE WOMAN WOULD BE CARRIED AWAY BY THE FLOOD
But the Earth helped the woman
I love that God’s Creation yields to the plans of God
I love that God keeps his word
I love that He fights for his people
SATAN WILL CONTINUE TO FIGHT AGAINST THE CHURCH
BUT THE CHURCH WILL PREVAIL
HE WILL CONTINUE TO BE ENRAGED WITH THE WOMAN
He will not only persecute her
He will persecute her offspring
Those who keep the commandments of God
Those who hold to their testimony that is rooted in the Work of Christ
The Work that Satan cannot undo.
He knows that the elect could be harmed
So what he is going to do is make less of that election
He will try and taint the name of Jesus
SO WHAT HAPPENS?

REV 13:1
JOHN STOOD ON THE SEA, WHERE HE SAW A BEAST RISING UP OUT OF THE SEA
Remember, in these times, the sea always pointed to evil
THIS BEAST HAD SEVEN HEADS, 10 HORNS, HIS HORNS HAD 10 CROWNS, AND ON HIS HEAD HE HAD A BLASPHEMOUS NAME
THIS BEAST WAS LIKE A LEOPARD, HIS FEET LIKE A BEA, HIS MOUTH LIKE A LION
THE DRAGON . . . SATAN . . . GAVE HIM POWER, HIS THRONE, AND GREAT AUTHORITY.
Interesting to note
John saw that one of his heads had been mortally wounded
But this deadly wound was healed
And this caused the world to marvel and follow the beast.
This also caused the world to recognize the Dragon as the source of this miracle.
They worshipped the Dragon for giving such authority to the beast
And they worshipped the Beast saying
Who is like the Beast and who is able to make war with him?
This gives us great insight to the human nature
We want to worship
We have a desire to worship
What we worship speaks to what we value and who we believe ourselves to be
THE BEAST HAD THE WORLD’S ATTENTION
HE WAS GIVEN A PLATFORM TO SPEAK GREAT THINGS AND GREAT BLASPHEMIES.
AND HE WAS GIVEN AUTHORITY FOR 42 MONTHS . . . 1260 DAYS . . . 3.5 YEARS
During this time, he used his platform to blaspheme against the Lord, His Name, His Tabernacle, and those who dwell in Heaven
Here is where it gets interesting
He is given the ability to make war against the saints and to overcome them
Authority was given to him over every tribe, tongue, and nation
All of the inhabitants of the Earth will worship him
All of them except for one group of people
Those whose names are written in the book of Life of the Lamb who was slain from the foundation of the world.
This goes to show us that even during the tribulation period, God has a remnant of Elect people who will inherit Eternal Life.
IF ANYONE HAS AN EAR TO HEAR, LET HIM HEAR
HE WHO LEADS INTO CAPTIVITY, SHALL GO INTO CAPTIVITY
HE WHO KILLS WITH THE SWORD, MUST BE KILLED WITH THE SWORD
FOR THE SAINTS, THEY MUST CONTINUE IN FAITH AND IN PATIENCE.

HE HAD TWO HORNS LIKE A LAMB AND SPOKE LIKE A DRAGON
HE EXCERCIZED THE SAME AUTHORITY OF THE FIRST BEAST
YET HE POINTED THE WORLD TO WORSHIP THE FIRST BEAST, WHOSE DEADLY WOUND WAS HEALED.
HE PERFORMED GREAT SIGNS BEFORE THE PEOPLE
FIRE CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN IN THE SIGHT OF MEN.
HE DECEIVES THOSE WHO DWELL ON THE EARTH, BY THE SIGNS THAT HE WAS ABLE TO PERFORM
TO WORSHIP THE BEAST AND SEPARATE THE PEOPLE
THIS BEAST IS INSTIGATING A SEPARATION BETWEEN THE PEOPLE OF GOD AND THE UNBELIEVERS.
HE WANTS THOSE WHO DON’T WORSHIP THE BEAST TO BE KILLED
HE CAUSES BOTH SMALL & GREAT
Rich and Poor
Free & Slave
To receive a mark on their right hand or foreheads
That one may be able to buy or sell with said mark
HERE IS THE INTERESTING PART
This technology is already in place
There are chips being made and implanted to make payment at any location that has an NFC Reader
It is the same technology used for Apple Pay, Google Wallet, etc etc
Is this technology evil?
Is Apple Pay the Mark of the beast?
