Eagerly Waiting For The Revealing of The Sons of God

For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.

Mark 16:15–20 NKJV

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

Romans 8:

Mark 16

Here in his letter to the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Rome, Paul is encouraging them in their Jewish and Gentile unity in Jesus Christ.

This was something previously unheard of or seen in regards to both groups living in harmony, with a common belief, in righteousness and holiness (Living lives that were set apart for our Creator and having a lifestyle that reflected that Him as His children/offspring).

The only other times of Jewish and Gentile unity that have been seen has been when The Jewish Nation at large compromised on their relationship with their G-d and Creator and gave into the beliefs and lifestyles of the nations and cultures around them.

This could be seen in things life their adultery, having relations outside the covenant of marriage (fornication), child sacrifice, and other types of unrighteous, unholy, perverted rebellious acts (sin).

They were unified in sin, that which is rebellion to and contrary to The Nature of our Creator.

Paul, through the opening pages of his letter, demonstrates how rebellion against our Creator (sin) is what all of mankind has in common, regardless of ethnicity, skin color, economic background, culture, etc.

As he continues to make his case, and point, he traces this rebellious trait all the way back to the first male of the human race, Adam (sorry Bro. Adam).

Through Adam’s rebellion, by listening to the first rebel, Lucifer/satan, although he was created perfect and knew to listen to His Creator, he corrupted his gene pool by introducing rebellion into it.

This was equal to a man taking a hit of heroin for the first time after he just got done with the “I Do’s” of his wedding ceremony and before he consummated his marriage with his wife.

Adam introduced something into himself and his offspring that forever corrupted us, mankind.

Look at our individual choices, familial choices, national and societal choices, our global choices, and their outcomes.

Why can’t we seem to get it right?

Paul continues on and brings in the actions that our Creator has taken to counter the issue of human rebellion (sin) by becoming a man Himself, living a perfect life (which is the only acceptable type of life to Him because His very nature in perfection), and in His human nature (humanity), took the punishment for OUR rebellion(sin).

Think about how you would feel if you knew someone who was perfect.

How would you feel knowing that they will not fall under the perfect and right judgment of our Creator, but you will?

How about if that same Perfect person said that they would take the outcome of our Creator’s judgment on you if you allow them to help you transform your life, and then go extend that same pardon to all those you come in contact with everyday?

What would you say to that?

That is the reality of our lives.

This is the pivot point of Paul’s letter.

He is telling The Christians in Rome what their response should be now that they have partaken of that pardon from our Creator, and now our Savior from His Right and Perfect judgment.

Rooted in their Born Again/ New Birth Experience, Paule also explains what they have to look forward to.

The Christians in Rome did not have a “blind” faith, they had an “experienced” faith.

Although not recounted in the Biblical Church History Book of Acts, Paul was sure that the Church in Rome had obeyed Yeshua’s command of needing to be Born Again of water and The Spirit.

John 3:

John 3:1–8 NKJV

There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

Yeshua explained the water as being baptism in His Name (, , ).

The Spirit was a reference to The Holy Spirit, a first century Jewish was of referencing The One True and Only G-d of all creation, The G-d of Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yisra’el. ()

John 7:37-39

John 7:37–39 NKJV

On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

And so we find ourselves back where we started, in part.

In one of our opening Scriptures, Paul says that creation eagerly awaits the revealing of the sons of G-d, speaking of our future transformation by G-d’s Spirit in and through us ().

Creation desires to be delivered, set free from the bondage of corruption due to makind’s sin/rebellion.

It wants to be let loose into the freedom of righteousness that will come when we are transformed ( v. 21).

But! We had another Scripture.

Yeshua said we are to preach/proclaim the Good News (Gospel) to every creature!

Those who believe/trust in The Good News will have these signs follow them!

Most of these signs are the same ones Yeshua, The Son of G-d, did.

NOW are we the children of G-d!

Now if you haven’t seen Yeshua perform a sign or miracle through you yet, don’t worry.

Luke says that Yeshua started His ministry at about the age of 30 ().

But we also need to been living ever thriving, consecrated lives.

Reading, studying, fasting, praying.

We need congregational prayer, not just alter call, but when the doors open, praying together at our homes, over the phone.

There are things that will not happen unless we get to the place of coming together in this place with one Passion, one accord ().

It was the lack of some of these spiritual disciplines that Yeshua’s disciples couldn’t cast out unclean, demonic spirits ().

Through our living dedicated and set apart lives unto Yeshua (consecrated), He builds our faith more easily, He begins to speaks to us on an almost daily basis as we read and pray, and helps us to understand The Scriptures by His Spirit within us.

If our relationship with Jesus is where it ought to be, and the hearts/minds/lives of the person we’re talking to is open to Jesus working in their lives, He will work with us as we preach ().

But Who’s a Preacher?!

We all are preachers of The Good News (Gospel).

would’ve been the 120 gathered together in Chapter 1 of Acts, including the 12 Shlicim, who were Yeshua’s hand picked talmidim!

This further increased to where in chapter 8 of Acts all The Church in Yerushalayim were scattered except HaShlichim!

Acts

Acts 8:1 NKJV

Now Saul was consenting to his death. At that time a great persecution arose against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria, except the apostles.

Those who were scattered, hatalmidim, preached everywhere they went!

Remember that preaching is proclaiming or making known the Good News of what Yeshua has done.

Let’s see what this looks like.

Acts

Acts 17:30–32 NKJV

Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.” And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked, while others said, “We will hear you again on this matter.”

In part we are proclaiming G-d’s reclaiming of this world and His judgment on wickedness and unrighteousness.

When Yeshua performs a sign, it’s just that a sign!

What is a sign for?

For us and the person for whom Yeshua worked it, it is the evidence of the reality of His coming Kingdom and judgment.

Luke 11:

Luke 11:20 NKJV

But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.

We can us this talking point when tragedies and injustices take place, that Yeshua will exact proper justice one of these soon coming days.

In times of someone’s need, we can share with them Yeshua’s ability and willingness to help those who believe/trust The Word of G-d which we are sharing.

But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed. And the keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, “Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.” Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he and all his family were baptized. Now when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them; and he rejoiced, having believed in God with all his household.

So what am I saying?

While we definitely have a future hope where creation will be delivered from its’ bondage under sins curse, there are creatures, people, that are waiting for the revealing of The Children of G-d! Now!

There are creatures, something that has been created by G-d that gets birthed into bondage to satan through their human flesh.

They want to be delivered, Now!

Although spoken by Yirmeyahu over 2600 years ago, it is very relevant for our day:

Jeremiah 8:8–12 NKJV

“How can you say, ‘We are wise, And the law of the Lord is with us’? Look, the false pen of the scribe certainly works falsehood. The wise men are ashamed, They are dismayed and taken. Behold, they have rejected the word of the Lord; So what wisdom do they have? Therefore I will give their wives to others, And their fields to those who will inherit them; Because from the least even to the greatest Everyone is given to covetousness; From the prophet even to the priest Everyone deals falsely. For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of My people slightly, Saying, ‘Peace, peace!’ When there is no peace. Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No! They were not at all ashamed, Nor did they know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; In the time of their punishment They shall be cast down,” says the Lord.

Jeremiah 8:8-

We live in a day of false priests and prophets that are hurting people

We live in a day of false teaching (doctrine) that are leading people right into their Creator’s Righteous and Perfect judgment

This is just what our Lord spoke of in .

Matthew 24:4–5 NKJV

And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.

Consecrate yourselves, set your life apart totally for Yeshua’s purpose for you!

Let The Sons of G-d Be Revealed!

Yeshua wants His children to step into their place of power and anointing where miracles are happening on the job, at the store, at home, on the streets.

That was the way Yeshua and His talmidim did it, in the open, not just in buildings.

He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

We are told by The Apostle Peter, Yeshua’s chief disciple so to say:

Acts 2:38 NKJV

Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

When people believed The Good News, they were ALWAYS BAPTIZED, and they were baptized in Yeshua’s Name, not His Titles.
