If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have loveAga, I am nothing.

Important gifts, Love is still better.
Author stresses importance of love over even faith.
Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
Love is the cause for our salvation.
Our faith can fail, but God’s love will never fail.
Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
So because of eternal security, do we have licence to sin?
What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase?

Therefore, all those things listed in the verse before,

are excercised through love or are just useless expressions of pride.
Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
The point here is not to say that having these gifts would not be impressive, because they undoubtedly are just that. The
