We are called to Separate and Celebrate God’s Justice.

God will Judge Civilization’s Corrupt Market Place, and Leave it Desolate.

The final product of man’s best enough at civilization is so corrupt that God judges it and destroy it, so that no one will no longer be tempted to inhabit it.
Babylon represents an organized world system estranged and obstinate to God’s design for society.

God calls us out of Culture’s Corrupt System of Commerce.

To come out means to be separated to God.
Leviticus 20:26 NASB95
‘Thus you are to be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy; and I have set you apart from the peoples to be Mine.
Deuteronomy 7:6 NASB95
“For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for His own possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.
1 Peter 1:13–16 NASB95
Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”
God calls us not to compromise by embracing the world’s obsession with luxury and materialism, the culture’s attitude of of self-indulgence, self-sufficiency, arrogance—haughty attitude, and sensuous idolatry.
We are also to be separated by spiritual transformation.
Proverbs 16:18 NASB95
Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before stumbling.
2 Corinthians 6:17 NASB95
“Therefore, come out from their midst and be separate,” says the Lord. And do not touch what is unclean; And I will welcome you.
God’s city welcomes sinners separate from their sins unto God for service.

Would you mourn, if you read the obituary for source of everything you say is detestable?

(18:9–13) Kings, Merchants, and Exporters stand, at a distance, watching for customers, who will no longer enter the city. the market place of materialism, sensationalism, luxury, and instant gratification has become a burning battlefield between humanity’s pride and God’s justice.
Kings gain power, Merchants gain wealth, Mariners gain economic security—workers have jobs.
Jewelry stores no longer expect the Christmas rush, the excitement of engagements, or the profit of last minute anniversary purchases.
Clothing Stores no longer need to offer BOGO.
Furniture stores have no need to advertise 0% interest for 60 months.
Building supply stores need no assistance in hardware or electric departments.
The perfume factories sit empty, because no customers come to the counters.
Grocery stores are silent shopping carts sit idle.
Stockyards and feedlots have nowhere to ship livestock.
Salve market—sellers in the skin trade have nowhere to sell their vices
(18:14) The leaders who have gained power, the merchants who have gained wealth, and the warehouse and transportation industry who have made they livings, depending on and trusting in the Great City of Civilization wake up to read her obituary. In one hour, the death announcement of the City of man, carries all the hopes and dreams of an unbelieving world to the grave with her. HNTC calls her the Harlot of Civilization, because the world has worshiped the market place of pleasure, the world has worshiped the pride of her self-sufficiency, and the world has become intoxicated by her offer of power, instead of worshipping God—the Giver of peace and every good gift.
The leaders of the world do not mourn over their sin. They only mourn for the lost of their retail spot in society.
God’s people should mourn sin and celebrate His justice and judgment and destruction of sin.

(18:20) God’s people should rejoice that they have not bet their destiny on the pride of the a manmade world system of commerce, funded by false religion.

(18:21–23) The arts and entertainment world no longer have an audience. No more employment, because a system of supply and demand no longer exists. No more homes with the porch lights on, or the living rooms lit with family time.
(18:24) God gives us everything we need to live prosperous productive lives, but City of Sin convinces the great person’s of the world to compromise their influence for God’s design and live selfish lives of wanton pleasure. The City of Sensuality leads all nations away from Christ—the Creator—the Savior, by a magic spell of sex, drugs and rock and roll. If it feels good invest in it, because sin always sells.
However, in one hour, in one day, their will be no market place for sin, because God will judge the Harlot of Civilization and destroy the stores of sensuality and destroy the customers of unholiness. All the will remain is the City of God void of all corruption, injustice, and prideful rebellion.
Would you rejoice, if God judged the Corrupt Commerce System of Today’s Society?
If cable or satellite no longer bundled channels, what channels would you purchase in your home?
If prayer was again allowed in school, would you take time at night to teach your kids, or grandkids to pray?
If the Bible was put back in the education system, would you help your kids do their homework?
If young women were again taught to be ladies, mother’s, would you change the way you dress your daughters? If young men were again taught to be gentlemen, Daddy’s, would you talk differently about women, in front of your sons.
I know what you are thinking! this sounds like the movie “Foot Loose.” We need to prohibit dancing, gambling, movies, sports, alcohol, and fun altogether. NO that is not what I am saying. God calls to to be separate, by becoming good stewards of everything He entrusts to us. I am not Asking you to give up anything. I am asking you to ask yourself, if your are a good steward of what God’s has given you.
Are you using your possessions and your life for God’s glory or your glory.
Does God get pleasure out of the the that bring you pleasure?
Would you use your home, car, club memberships differently in heaven than you are currently using them?
Genesis 18:19 NASB95
“For I have chosen him, so that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing righteousness and justice, so that the Lord may bring upon Abraham what He has spoken about him.”
Genesis 48:15–16 NASB95
He blessed Joseph, and said, “The God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, The God who has been my shepherd all my life to this day, The angel who has redeemed me from all evil, Bless the lads; And may my name live on in them, And the names of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; And may they grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.”
Fathers we are called to be shepherd/kings. The power we receive from God are are to steward for His design for our families. A changed family will change a church. a changed church will change a community. A changed community will change a city. A changed County will change a culture.
A changed society begins with a changed home.
Women,
Genesis 3:16 NASB95
To the woman He said, “I will greatly multiply Your pain in childbirth, In pain you will bring forth children; Yet your desire will be for your husband, And he will rule over you.”
Genesis 3:20 NASB95
Now the man called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of all the living.
Women respect your husband and support him in becoming the leader God created him to be.
Society has become dependent of political leaders assuming the role of father’s has have in the home.
Tucker Carson comments about the Republican Party’s lack of concern for family’s. Without family society will fail. But young people can no longer afford to get married. The government must make marriage financially attractive, if young people are going to raise families. Family’s not built on the idea of reproducing worshipers of God, are not going to change society’s selfishness and investments in self-interests.
Father’s God gives us grandkids so that we don’t make the same mistakes we made with our kids. Mothers the same is true with you. It is never too late to begin letting Christ transform your life to fit in God’s design for you.
Will you separate and celebrate God’s Justice?
Will you separate from the things God deems unfit for His design of the family?
Will you celebrate that God judges and destroys the things that rob Him of His glory?
Will you examine your stewardship of your home, finances, priorities, and determine if they bring God pleasure?
