Choice (Choosing God)
CIT: Jesus asked if they would follow him.
CIS: We have the choice to follow God or not.
SO: Kids will understand that they must choose God for themselves.

1) If you could choose to be Superman or Ironman, who would it be?

3) Do we have the choice to do anything you want?
ILL - Breaking the wall...
We – are given choices, is that good or bad? I like to choose what I eat, what I wear, who I hang out with…Sometimes I don’t get to choose!
ILL - Breaking the wall…Choose the wrong game at the wrong time and had consequences!
T.S. - Do you have a choice when it comes to God? If so then
how do I choose God?
Bible -
Passing along the beach of Lake Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew net-fishing. Fishing was their regular work. Jesus said to them, “Come with me. I’ll make a new kind of fisherman out of you. I’ll show you how to catch men and women instead of perch and bass.” They didn’t ask questions. They dropped their nets and followed.
A dozen yards or so down the beach, he saw the brothers James and John, Zebedee’s sons. They were in the boat, mending their fishnets. Right off, he made the same offer. Immediately, they left their father Zebedee, the boat, and the hired hands, and followed.
These men had their game planned out but then this guy named Jesus came along and asked them. Do you want to play my game...?
Daniel - Shadrach not only learn, said but he lived it each and every day even if it ment he would have to die.
You – have the choice of being a Follower of Jesus or not. Just because we come to church doesn’t mean we are followers of Jesus. Have you decided to go All In and play Jesus game.
We – We can say Yes today but the truth is what happens tomorrow in my home, at my school.
PRAY - Jesus help me choice you each and everyday!
