Waiting on the Lord

2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, That he may run that readeth it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, But at the end it shall speak, and not lie: Though it tarry, wait for it; Because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

Waiting is not easy

God never gets

++Overwhelmed

God is not

++In a mess

This is something

++We should have known

He is God

++The Almighty

++Creator of all

++Sustainer of all

His name shall be call....

Isaiah 40:29–31 KJV 1900

29 He giveth power to the faint; And to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings as eagles; They shall run, and not be weary; And they shall walk, and not faint.

This same God

++Strengthens the weak

++Empower the powerless

He will give you

++What Youth cannot

++What a strength beyond your capacity

All you have to do is wait

Waiting

++Endurance

++Expectation

++Hope

I don’t like to wait, I want it now, Patience is a virtue I can live without.

In waiting I have a Promise

++New strength

++New joy

++New Hope

To strengthen my heart

Today God says I have a promise for you.

It may not come when you want it

It may not come when you expect it

But wait I say on the the Lord

Don’t loose heart in the wait
