Finding your Fit
How many of you grew up with a Shape-O Toy
Shape-O Toy
no matter how hard you tried each piece could only fit in its intended slot
You and I are alot like that as well
you can struggle and struggle until you find your fit
1 Cor 12:
Last week I spoke on God’s got your back
The fact of His unwavering, undeserved, everlasting Love for you.
He Loves us, The response to His Love for us should be love for Him
Love = obedience
We Love Him because He first Loved us
Love = obedience
So it works like this.
He Loves us, We then love Him, which causes us to do what He wants us to do
The first 2 times He used the Greek word agape, which refers to unconditional love.
Both times, Peter responded with “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you,”
using the Greek word phileo, which refers more to a brotherly/friendship type of love.
It seems that Jesus is trying to get Peter to understand that he must love Jesus unconditionally in order to be the leader God is calling him to be.
The third time Jesus asks, “Do you love me?” in ,
He uses the word phileo, and Peter again responds with “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you,” again using phileo.
The point in the different Greek words for “love” seems to be that Jesus was stretching Peter to move him from phileo love to agape love.
Knowing God’s Love for you should cause you to Love Him, and in turn create a overwhelming desire to want to obey Him
The greatest challenge for me as a pastor is getting every person under my charge to walk in their destiny.
Its my primary responsibility, but often outside of my control
Let me explain it this way.
If a businessman has to get a worker’s to do something he has the leverage of a paycheck whose necessity powerfully motivates employees to do what they are asked.
Workers in the church, however, do not need the job they perform in order to put food on the table and, may even have easier lives without it.
The challenge for a pastor lead a volunteer to change when He/she doesn’t want to?
A volunteer army also means that they can unvolunteer.
So How can I get you to do what God wants you to do?
After all everyone has their reasons why they can’t or won’t
whether its a lack of time, or knowledge, or desire
There is a common belief that 20% do 80% of the work
There is a common belief that 20% do 80% of the work in the Church
Although I cannot says this is exactly true for Kingdom Way, its probably very close

I could remind you of the Bema seat
2 Cor
John
Only those who are born again believers will stand before the ‘Bema’ seat of Christ
The purpose of the ‘Bema’ seat is to make a public manifestation of the essential character and motives of the individual Christian.
The believer’s works are brought into judgment in order that it may be determined whether they are good or bad.
This judgment is not to determine what is ethically good or evil, but rather that which is acceptable and that which is worthless/unprofitable to the work of Christ.
“Every man’s work shall be made manifest”
).
While it is possible to hide the true quality of one’s service for Christ in this life, there will be a tie of reckoning for the Christian.
There is coming a time when all will be openly displayed for what one’s true motives were.

Results of Christ’s Judgement
The results of the judgment are two-fold:
(1) a reward received or
(2) a reward lost.
If a man’s work remains undamaged by the fire, accordingly, he receives rewards
… If a man’s work does not endure, and is consumed in the fire, then he shall “suffer loss.”
).
It is important to notice that such a man does not suffer the loss of his salvation, but the loss of reward.
The stress is not on a man’s relationship to Christ, but upon service to Christ.
