When determining a path to take, it is truly important to know where you are. - Like the Directory at the Mall or at a Fire Escape Map
Mark 2:22 NKJV
22 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins.”
1) To provide a biblical (Acts 2:46) way of building relationships, connections, and felt-need care of current Ark Church Members
2) To provide a ministry outlet and growth opportunity for those called to servant leadership

Where are we RIGHT NOW?

Leviticus 19:23–25 NKJV
23 ‘When you come into the land, and have planted all kinds of trees for food, then you shall count their fruit as uncircumcised. Three years it shall be as uncircumcised to you. It shall not be eaten. 24 But in the fourth year all its fruit shall be holy, a praise to the Lord. 25 And in the fifth year you may eat its fruit, that it may yield to you its increase: I am the Lord your God.
3) To provide an avenue of church growth and ministry expansion within the community
We truly believe that in this next year, we are going to see God-fruit of a kind we have never seen before
Lev19:23025
God is about to give us fresh & New Wine at The Ark Christian Church
Mark 2:22 NKJV
22 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins.”
Mark 2:22 NKJV
22 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins.”
The exciting & God-breathed changes we will see this coming year at The Ark are:
1) Structural Leadership Shifts and Additions
Mark 2:22 NKJV
22 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins.”
2) Organization and implementation of Small Groups

Structural Leadership Shifts and Additions

2 Corinthians 3:18 NKJV
18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
We will be changing glories, like the transition from Moses to Joshua - they were both great, both God, but very different.
In order to effectively pastor, lead, and focus on the MOST IMPORTANT parts of our functions as the Lead Pastors, we will be:
1) Shifting current leadership into roles that are the God-roles in this season
2) Installing Care Pastors with a mantle of anointing through presbytery

Save the Date:

January 26 & 27 of 2019 with Apostles Mel Mullen and Emmanuel Cannistraci

Exodus 18:17–23 NKJV
17 So Moses’ father-in-law said to him, “The thing that you do is not good. 18 Both you and these people who are with you will surely wear yourselves out. For this thing is too much for you; you are not able to perform it by yourself. 19 Listen now to my voice; I will give you counsel, and God will be with you: Stand before God for the people, so that you may bring the difficulties to God. 20 And you shall teach them the statutes and the laws, and show them the way in which they must walk and the work they must do. 21 Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens. 22 And let them judge the people at all times. Then it will be that every great matter they shall bring to you, but every small matter they themselves shall judge. So it will be easier for you, for they will bear the burden with you. 23 If you do this thing, and God so commands you, then you will be able to endure, and all this people will also go to their place in peace.”

This will be happening on January 26 & 27 of 2019
Ezekiel 37:1–10 NKJV
1 The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. 2 Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. 3 And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” So I answered, “O Lord God, You know.” 4 Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! 5 Thus says the Lord God to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. 6 I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.” ’ ” 7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them. 9 Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.” ’ ” 10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.
Ezekiel 37
We believe that with the right structure, and the prophetic inspiration of God, that:
The Right people (flesh) will be in the right spots
The Breath and Life of God’s Spirit will fill this body
We will see a great army, full of life, raised up in the House of the Lord

Organization and Implementation of Small Groups

Acts 3:19 NKJV
19 Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,
Small Groups are Biblical in the New Testament Church and with Jesus’ ministry as our example
The Purpose of Small Groups at The Ark:
1) To provide a biblical () way of building authentic & transparent relationships, connections, and to provide felt-need care of The Ark Christian Church Members
Mark 4:33–34 NKJV
33 And with many such parables He spoke the word to them as they were able to hear it. 34 But without a parable He did not speak to them. And when they were alone, He explained all things to His disciples.
2) To provide a ministry outlet and growth opportunity for those called to servant leadership
Philemon 1–2 NKJV
1 Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother, To Philemon our beloved friend and fellow laborer, 2 to the beloved Apphia, Archippus our fellow soldier, and to the church in your house:

Isaiah 65:8 NKJV

Acts 2:46 NKJV
46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,
We believe that the Holy Spirit is all over this “new wineskin” transition into sermon based small groups
1) To provide a biblical () way of building authentic & transparent relationships, connections, and to provide felt-need care of The Ark Christian Church Members
2) To provide a ministry outlet and growth opportunity for those called to servant leadership
Isaiah 65:8 NKJV
8 Thus says the Lord: “As the new wine is found in the cluster, And one says, ‘Do not destroy it, For a blessing is in it,’ So will I do for My servants’ sake, That I may not destroy them all.
Acts 2:13–17 NKJV
13 Others mocking said, “They are full of new wine.” 14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. 15 For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. 16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: 17 ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams.
Isaiah 65:8 NKJV
8 Thus says the Lord: “As the new wine is found in the cluster, And one says, ‘Do not destroy it, For a blessing is in it,’ So will I do for My servants’ sake, That I may not destroy them all.
Mark 2:22 NKJV
22 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins.”
The wine is the content, the wineskin is the container.
Without a new container, the contents are lost.
The Holy Spirit is the New Wine, and we don’t want to lose Him.
Acts 2:12–18 NKJV
12 So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “Whatever could this mean?” 13 Others mocking said, “They are full of new wine.” 14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. 18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.
Ephesians 5:18 ESV
18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit,

Ephesians 4:15–16 NKJV
15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

Ecclesiastes 4:10 NKJV
10 For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up.
It is entirely possible to be alone in a group:
For some, this is purposeful and by choice
For others, they may simply not know how to have authentic relationships
We know that it may sound like going overboard in faith to say this, but

We are believing for 100% participation of this church in small groups.

Big things happen when there is unity!
Genesis 11:4–6 NKJV
4 And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.” 5 But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. 6 And the Lord said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them.
Psalm 133:1–3 NKJV
1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity! 2 It is like the precious oil upon the head, Running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments. 3 It is like the dew of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the Lord commanded the blessing— Life forevermore.
Psalm 133:1 KJV 1900
1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 Chronicles 5:13–14 NKJV
13 indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying: For He is good, For His mercy endures forever,” that the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, 14 so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.
Tonight is the prophetic trumpet call to rally together and decide to move forward into the place that God has for us.
It will be new, it will be different, but the indelible mark of the Holy Spirit is on it and
3) To provide an avenue of church growth and ministry expansion within the community
We invite you to be a part of God’s vision for The Ark in 2019 !

Questions:

If time and money were not an issue, where would you go and what would you do on your dream vacation?
Do you know right where you are, spiritually, at this moment of your life as well as where you are trying to get to? If not, what means might you use to determine one or both of these?
Read and considering the facts that Saul of Tarsus gladly killed Christians before his encounter with Jesus & wrote 2/3 of the Bible’s New Testament after this encounter - discuss why God placing the right people in the right positions at the right time can be so vitally important.
What do you feel you have to offer that others in the world & at The Ark need?
