What is Identity?

1a : the distinguishing character or personality of an individual : individuality b : the relation established by psychological identification 2 : the condition of being the same with something described or asserted

Identity Established

Genesis 1:26–28 KJV 1900
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Genesis 1:26-
1a : the distinguishing character or personality of an individual : individuality
b : the relation established by psychological identification

Genesis 1:26

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Genesis 1:27

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Genesis 1:28

28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

2 : the condition of being the same with something described or asserted
Jeremiah 1:5 KJV 1900
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Therefore our Identity is established by Three Things

1. God’s Nature & Character

Jeremiah 29:11 KJV 1900
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

2. God’s Delegated Authority

Jeremiah 29:

3. God’s Original Intention or Assignment for Our Lives

The thief is coming after the true essence of our Identity. He is coming after your purpose, he’s coming after your destiny, and often times he uses traumatic experiences to cause you to take your eyes off of where you are going and get locked in on your where you came from and where you are.
He uses...
Rejection and Abandonment - Shrink Back, Hide, Insecurity and Low Self Esteem
Abuse - Anger, Rage, Isolation,
Jeremiah 1:5 KJV 1900
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
Jeremiah 29:11 KJV 1900
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

How do we Connect with our TRUE IDENTITY?

Through the Spirit of Prophecy

(Read ) Before I formed you in the womb of your mother, I already knew you in the womb of the spirit and I sanctioned you to become who I knew you ultimately were. says for I KNOW the thoughts, where did these thoughts and plans come from? From the womb of the Spirit that God spoke of in . The thing that grabbed my attention in is when it says to bring you to An EXPECTED end
Jeremiah 29:11 KJV 1900
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Jeremiah 29:11

EXPECTED : to look forward to be pregnant : awaiting birth, to anticipate or look forward to the coming or occurrence of, to consider bound in duty or obligation

3 : to be pregnant : await the birth
An expected end - previously thought out

1. God’s Nature & Character

b : the relation established by psychological identification
Assassinate or Pervert our CHARACTER

2. God’s Delegated Authority

Minimize or Eliminate our AUTHORITY
An expected end - predetermined

3. God’s Original Intention or Assignment for Our Lives

Ignorant of or Abort our ASSIGNMENT
An expected end - A high degree of certainty
2 : the condition of being the same with something described or asserted
An expected end - A Hope and a Furture

His thoughts or God’s historical context of who you are becomes the prophetic fuel that drives you to become it

It is important to understand that the essence of the prophetic ministry is of and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. The bible says in Worship God for the Testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy. In other words the Spirit of Prophecy should be a result of or lead to the testimony of Jesus.
Prophecy is designed to reconcile mankind back to Jesus and restore mankind back to His original intent and purpose in the earth. As a result, prophecy then reminds the pending future of the predestined past. To this end, the assignment of the prophet is to remind the recipient of what thus said the Lord concerning their life.
prophecy then reminds the pending future of the predestined past. To this end, the assignment of the prophet is to remind the recipient of what thus said the Lord concerning their life.
God’s history of who we are becomes the prophecy of who we ultimately will be. In other words God’s history is our prophecy and therefore our prophecy is God’s History then manifesting it’s promise now.
In other words, The Spirit of Prophecy reaches into the predestined state of history and declares the purpose and destiny of your future.
The testimony for Jesus is a spirit of prophecy it is the assignment of prophecy to reach into historical mindset of God for a particular generation or individual declaring Gods intent for their destiny…In other words, The Spirit of Prophecy reaches into the predestined state of history and declares the purpose and destiny.
Your Identity does not come from the drama of your momma or the demons of your daddy. Your identity does not come from the traumatic experiences of your past, your identity does not come from negative and in operative words that has been spoken over your life. Rather your identity comes from the God’s Character & Nature, God’s Delegated Authority, and God’s Original intent and purpose for your life!

If this is so, why do all of these things affect who we are and what we ultimately become?

What Makes Sheep Cry?

THE THIEF

Psalm 51:5 KJV 1900
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; And in sin did my mother conceive me.
Psalm
John 10:10 KJV 1900
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
STEAL our AUTHORITY
KILL our CHARACTER
DESTROY our ASSIGNMENT
The thief is coming after the true essence of our Identity. He is coming after your purpose, he’s coming after your destiny, and often times he uses traumatic experiences to cause you to take your eyes off of where you are going and get locked in on your where you came from or where you are.
Colossians 3:1–5 KJV 1900
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

WHY Does God Allow This To Happen?
Luke 22:31 KJV 1900
31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
Luke 22:31-
Luke 22:31–32 KJV 1900
31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
To empower you to strengthen your brother
Romans 8:18
Romans 8:18 KJV 1900
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
To strengthen you and to intensify your anointing
James 1:2–4 KJV 1900
2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
To mature and complete you for your expected end, lacking nothing

WHY IS HONOR SO IMPORTANT?

It is the reflection of God
It is the Heart of God
It is the Love of God
Colossians 3:10–15 KJV 1900
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: 11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. 12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
