Lisa - What does it mean to get your “Roar” back? 2-3 people
2 Parts tonight
Part 1 Review From Sunday
There’s a difference in Arrogance and Confidence and GodFYdence. GodFYdence gives you strength, ability, support not based on what you can do, have done or your capabilities but rather it comes from a resevoir of who you are.
You’ve already been declared royalty!
Huddle: We are royalty! You began greeting people as kings and queens. We’re a royal priesthood/holy nation.
Reminder, the Isrealites weren’t the most revered and highly trained group of people. As a matter of fact they’d been captivity.
The Jewish Christians (NT) were in hiding. The catacombs, their community was too small to be a “force” by numbers as it is in 2018.
Pt: When you come up with the foundational shift in understanding that you don’t have to wait for something to happen on the outside to have God-FY that you don’t have to wait for something to happen, it’ll change how you go through life.

Patient

lazy vs. patient

Protective

As far as being more lion-like, what do you need to be protective of? Protective of yourself? Your money? Your children? Your partner? Your spouse? Your business? Your colleagues? Your position? Your beliefs? They only protect what they are apart of.So, exactly what do you need to be protective of?

New Concepts

Brave

You don't have to watch very many Discovery Channel shows about lions to see how protective they are - of territory, themselves, their young, and so forth. As far as being more lion-like, what do you need to be protective of? Protective of yourself? Your money? Your children? Your partner? Your spouse? Your business? Your colleagues? Your position? Your beliefs? They only protect what they are apart of.So, exactly what do you need to be protective of? To have Godfydence is to look out for yours. If you can’t protect it you need to leave it so another lion can.To be protective is to be ready and willing to fightHmm...we know that lions will fight when need be. They don't pick fights but because they are willing to protect their food, their mates, their territory and so forth, they will fight if necessary. What is the one thing you are willing to fight for?My wife, don’t mess her man or her childrenShe fights for this churchrelationships, Reputation, To be understood

Brave

He’s not called king of jungle for nothing! Being lion-like means you are brave and courageous. Naturally, you choose when and where to be brave vs. timid, courageous vs. cowardly. We all make choices every day. Look for opportunities today and every day where you can be brave. It does make a difference, both for you and for others.
Hosea 5:14 NKJV
14 For I will be like a lion to Ephraim, And like a young lion to the house of Judah. I, even I, will tear them and go away; I will take them away, and no one shall rescue.
Hosea 5

Hunters

You might be one of the people who is "hunting" for money. You might be hunting for it for your own personal situation or you are hunting money for projects at work or for community needs and the like. But what else do lion-like folks hunt for? Go after:what really makes me happy; to ignore what others feel is successful and find my own successchanges in the path of my career that will also change my personal life...and vice versaChurch folk wait for it to come…Kingdom folk go and get it!!! Younger generation don’t respect laziness. What are you hunting? And just like a lion on the savanna, you may or may not find it, but you hunt regardless.

Larger picture they are lonersJust as much as they are the “king” of the jungle they are deeply connected to a group.“Prides are family units that may include up to three males, a dozen or so females, and their young.”You don’t get it do you?!?!? You are supposed to be demonstrating the same characteristics that Jesus demo-ed. If you can see a tendency in Jesus that you don’t have you’re leaving something on the table.

Ex. Courtaney. Pt: People have been waiting for the right time to roar. To test their roar. Cubs can’t grow into their unique roar if they don’t grow! God’s been sending lion-growing moments and you’ve been missing them!
Discussion: What is God saying to you about your roar? What is it going to take to get louder? Keep it 60 seconds.
“I want to be all of those things.” Maybe you’ve seen elements of them all come out in your life. But truth be told you’re not an adult lion…probably more closer to cub acting.”
Last Wednesday Truth’s to anchor to so that you can be unwavering in your GodFY
Picture of an Anchor
No matter how big or small the ship, they all need an anchor.
the anchor is disportionately smaller than the vessel

1-Nothing is Mine

NKJV1 The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein.
An anchor keeps the boat from moving. How much do anchors weigh?
NKJV26 for “the earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness.”
as long as I remember and operate from my place of authoirty, all I have to do is call in a work order.People like to rent cause whenever anything goes out, unlike a home owner, the landlord has to fix it!app: Daddy you’ve got some bills to pay - God’s will God’s bill!!!

2-I Don’t Have to Do the Heavy Lifting

Noah had to build it Israelites had to clear but God was going to drive out their enemies from in front of themThey had to walk across Red Sea - God had to wall up the water Walk around Jericho - God had to cause the walls to fall downPeter Had to walk on the water - Jesus had to congeal the water Notice, I didn’t say you don’t have to do ANY lifting!

3-I Can Never Be Too Weak

NKJV8 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. 9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

Where I’m Sitting

Ephesians 2:4–6 NKJV
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
eph 2
You don’t deserve to have the seats you have
Ill: Me and Q at Falcons vs. Cowboys - it wasn’t what I had that got me seats, it was who I knew.

Who I know

Hebrews 7:25 NKJV
25 Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
: “Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them,” and : “Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.” In both verses the word ‘interceding’ or ‘intercession’ is used.
“Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them,” and
Romans 8:34 NKJV
34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.
: “Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.” In both verses the word ‘interceding’ or ‘intercession’ is used.

Meaning of intercession
Intercession means: pleading on behalf of another person. Jesus is pleading on behalf of all those who have put their trust in him for their salvation.
1 John 2:1–2 NKJV
1 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
advocate - legal representation
, adds that “if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. He is the propitiation for our sins.”
Salvation can be found in Jesus alone: he is the one who died to atone for sins. He took our sins upon him and exchanged it with his righteousness (). Jesus’ sacrifice was perfect and complete.
So why does the Bible tell us that Jesus is still interceding for us?
I’m Permanently His
1 John 3:1–4 NKJV
1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. 4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
Nothing you had to do “bestowed on us, that we are called children.”
The state changes… “now we are children.” There’ll never be a time that you aren’t! You’ll never not be His!
You’ll never not be His!
Our full potential hasn’t been seen. “it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him,”
Sin can make you lose your GodFY
Discussion: What has shifted in you to get you more units of GodFYdence? OR What needs to shift in you to get more units?
