CELEBRATING FATHER'S DAY EVERY DAY

I.          Why Celebrate Father's Day Every Day

1. God the Father is your ______________

"You made my whole being.  You formed me in my mother's body.  You saw my body as it was formed."

  Psalm 139:13,16a

2. God the Father is your ______________

"The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love.  The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made."  Psalm 145:8-9

3. God the Father is your ______________

"You have left the love you had in the beginning.  So remember where you were before you fell.  Change your hearts and do what you did at first.  If you do not change, I will come to you."  Revelation 2:4-5

 

II.        How to Celebrate Father's Day Every Day

1. Rejoice in his _______________

"I praise you because you made me in an amazing and wonderful way.  What you have done is wonderful.  I know this very well."  Psalm 139:14

2. Relax in God's _______________

"And God is full of comfort.  He comforts us every time we have trouble, so that we can comfort others when they have trouble.  We can comfort them with the same comfort that God gives us."  2 Corinthians 1:4

3. Run along with the ________________

"I do not mean that I am already as God wants me to be.  I have not yet reached that goal.  But I continue trying to reach it and to make it mine...I forget the things that are past.  I try as hard as I can to reach the goal and get the prize."  Philippians 3:12-13

I.          Why Celebrate Father's Day Every Day

1. God the Father is your CREATOR

"You made my whole being.  You formed me in my mother's body.  You saw my body as it was formed."

2. God the Father is your COMFORTER

3. God the Father is your CHANGER
