Sinfulness, injustice, evil – these things can be found wherever we look in the world, even in our own hearts – for it is in the very nature of mankind. When left unchecked, wickedness flows forward, and so we see in the world so much wickedness, seemingly triumphant, and no fear of God in the eyes of those who conspire to do evil, and revel in it. But, on this Freedom Sunday, we will consider this truth: the love and righteousness of God will always overcome evil. No matter how hard the enemies of God try, no matter how much scheming and plotting they undertake, God's justice will prevail, without fail.
