The accountant, however, was arrested three days later for embezzling funds, and the man was left to solve the problem himself.

What is a parable?
The parables are stories that Jesus told to help describe difficult concepts.
Sometimes called “An Earthly story with a heavenly meaning.”
According to Stein, this is only sort of true.
While we get the word “parable” from the Greek “parabole”, the word Jesus would have used in Aramaic and/or Hebrew is “Mashal”.
Mashal = “proverb”
