Genesis 2:7–25 KJV 1900
7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. 8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. 9 And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. 10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. 11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; 12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone. 13 And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia. 14 And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates. 15 And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. 18 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. 19 And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. 20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. 21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. 25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

God desires a relationship with you.
Genesus 2:7-9

How awesome is it to think that the God that created all desired a relationship with you.
He would not have made man if this was not the case
Revelation 4:11 KJV 1900
11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
You were created for His good pleasure
Psalm 8 KJV 1900
To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm of David. 1 O Lord our Lord, How excellent is thy name in all the earth! Who hast set thy glory above the heavens. 2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength Because of thine enemies, That thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. 3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, The moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; 4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him? 5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, And hast crowned him with glory and honour. 6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; Thou hast put all things under his feet: 7 All sheep and oxen, Yea, and the beasts of the field; 8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, And whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. 9 O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
Revelation 4:11 KJV 1900

God Provides

Genesis 6:3 KJV 1900
3 And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

God Provides

1st Let’s look at God’s provision for Adam and Eve
Genesis 2:7–9 KJV 1900
7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. 8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. 9 And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Genesis 2:7-8
God makes man, naturally He provides for them.
He is like a parent providing for His children.
I brought them into this world, you can guarantee I will make sure they are provided for.
Who am I that God is mindful of me?
Not only is He mindful of us but He loves us.
He didn't just set it and forget it.
He even provided Jesus as the ultimate sacrifice before time began
Revelation 13:8 KJV 1900
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
God provided everything we need in life through creation and the cross

God Protects

God sets boundaries for His children like any loving Father would do.
It is important to note that God only had one limitation for His children.
Oftentimes we only want to focus on the negative as opposed to how good the positive really is.
Genesis 2:15–17 KJV 1900
15 And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Don’t touch the hot stove.
Just leave it alone

God Relates

As the creator of man, God knew that we would long for companionship.
Anyone want the biblical principle for dating?
Genesis 2:18–25 KJV 1900
Genesis 2:18-
As the creator of man, God knew that we would long for companionship, as such, he knows us deeply, knowing exactly what we need in a spouse.
An interesting turn of events takes place
God say its not good for man to be alone
He then brings the animals before Adam so that he could name them
Adam did not find an help meet out of the animals
God brings a help meet to Adam.
The order here is crucial.
When Adam was searching for a companion he didn’t find one.
GOD BROUGHT ONE TO HIM.
Don’t go looking on your own.
You do not need to go searching for a BF/GF

Did you know that God found pleasure in creating you? How does this shape the way you view God and how He sees you?
Why do you think God set boundaries on what man should and should not do? Is it a good or bad thing?
Why do you think God set boundaries on what man should and should not do? Is it a good or bad thing?
Why did God bring all the animals to Adam before he made Eve?
Why do you think God
Revelation 4:11 KJV 1900
