Philippians 2:13–16 NKJV
13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. 14 Do all things without complaining and disputing, 15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, 16 holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.
Ephesians 4:11-15
Ephesians 4:11–15 NKJV
11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—
Romans 7:18–19 NKJV
18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. 19 For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice.
Galatians 5:16–19 NKJV
16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
Galatians 5:16–18 NKJV
16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
Galatians 5:22–23 NKJV
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
1 Corinthians 13:1–7 NKJV
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Ephesians 4:11–15 NKJV

Hebrews 13:20–21 NKJV
20 Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21 make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
Romans 3:12 NKJV
12 They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one.”
Romans
1 John 1:5 NKJV
5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
1 john 1
Matthew 19:17 NKJV
17 So He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”
Only 2 questions matter when it comes to Christianity:
1: is it true?
2: does it work?
What’s the best way to answer #1?
If #2 proves #1, then both questions are answered. What other objection matters?
To know if Christianity works, we have to examine its teachings.
What are the central teachings of Christianity?
Christ good, everyone else bad.
what effect would this belief have in someone’s life?
1. Christ is the center of every thing about Christianity.
This is the Christian idea of sin. Take it out of the world, everything bad goes with it.
Christ is the center of every thing about Christianity.
- He’s why we pray, how we behave and talk, and the prize that awaits us.
He’s why we pray, how we behave and talk, and the prize that awaits us.
Christ gives us a goal to aspire to.
Christ gives us a goal to aspire to.
It is indisputable that He existed and that He represents everything good. There is no argument against Him.

2. God will provide what we need to change into our goal.
Study after study, proves religious belief provides the motivation to change.
The Holy Spirit , the Word , and other believers give us the motivation , encouragement, and ability to reach that goal.
The Holy Spirit , the Word , and other believers give us the motivation , encouragement, and ability to reach our goal.
Christianity is the only religion where we please God by serving Him with His power rather than our own.
