Now listen to this, we have 4 gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
Matthew, Mark, Luke are what we call Synoptic gospels which means they are similar.
The Gospels were written to different people.
Matthew was written to the Jewish people.
Mark was written to the Roman audience.
Luke was written to the Greek or gentile audience.
John was written to everyone
John covers the first 2 years of Jesus’ ministry
The others refer to the last year of Jesus’ ministry
Remember that Jesus did not minister all of his life.
If you read them side by side you will see that they have a lot of the same things in them.
But when you read John you will realize there is almost nothing repeated.

Something we need to understand is that scripture is important.
We can read the scripture and ask for complete understanding or we can put our feelings and desires above the scripture because that is what we want.
This has happened in the church for a long time concerning the Holy Spirit, His work in our lives and our Baptism in Him, the Holy Spirit.
