The good news is God knows the best way to deal with narcissists, because His way is the only way that actually works.

There are no guarantees that doing what God did will lead to your Neb’s redemption.

However, no Neb will be redeemed without doing what God does.

Doing what God does gives your Neb the best opportunity for repentance and redemption.

“Thanks Pastor, but _______.”

“Thanks Pastor, but I’ll just pray.”

“Thanks Pastor but I’ll ask my Neb to listen to your sermons.”

“Thanks Pastor but I just need to ________ my Neb more.”

“Thanks Pastor but I’m just going to have a come to Jesus meeting with my Neb.”

Step #1 - Give your Neb multiple warnings / Set multiple boundaries.

Step #2 - Give your Neb a season for repentance.

It is a gracious, merciful, God like thing – depending upon the circumstances and the level of abuse you endure – to let your Neb know they have a duration of time to demonstrate repentance, otherwise more severe consequences or a severed relationship may occur.

Step # 3 - Follow through with serious consequences.

Serious consequences became the redemptive presence in Nebuchadnezzar’s life.

For some the first step to deal with your Neb is to begin dealing first with yourself.

All the grace and mercy Christians normally extend to other people will not work for your Neb because Nebs carry a sense of entitlement.

2 Samuel 12:13-14

Your Neb’s sense of superiority and entitlement gets broken when they experience that the rules that apply to all of us, apply to them as well.

Step #1 - Give your Neb multiple warnings / Set multiple boundaries.

Step #2 - Give your Neb a season for repentance.

Step # 3 - Follow through with serious consequences.
