Bible Study
The LORD knows His children.
He is very aware of everything we face.
Every victory, piece of good news, defeat, and times of trouble.
The LORD knows us and puts a hedge behind us and before us.
We can not be touched unless He allows it and if He allows it, it is for our good.
In addition to His knowledge of what we are going through, we are protected by His presence.
His hand shall lead us and hold us.
In all situations, we can be assured of the Lord’s leading and that we are in His hand.
When David is speaking of the darkness in verses 11 and 12, it is possible that he is referring to a depressed state.
Over the past few days, I have been dealing with darkness in my spirit.
I have been down, yet even as I have felt down, the Lord’s presence shines as the day for me.
In verses 13-16, we see that the Lord has made us.
He put us together and He fashioned our days for us.
Even before we were born, the Lord determined our days.
We should do all that we can to live pleasing to Him.
We need to contemplate and hold precious the thoughts of God.
