The Helmet of Salvation
The helmet protects,
We must be on guard

It is very important that we remain singular in our focus

Christian’s rarely get caught up in the world on purpose
But they divide their attention, get double vision and when their vision does clear they find themselves chasing after another master.
What Jesus is saying here is “the good is the enemy of the best”
and even good things can rob you of your affections.

Sound doctrine is transformative and it’s primary fruit is holiness
When Saul was consumed by an evil spirit, he did evil things
When the man was controlled by an unclean spirit, he did unclean things
When a man or woman is filled with the Holy Spirit, he will live holy.
We must at times “endure sound doctrine”
We are accountable for the truth we have.
