Some time back I began to notice a hashtag circulating among people I am connected with. The post leads with a testimony ranging from truly the miraculous work of God to some simple blessing that a person gives God credit for. Some are even humorous.
Consider some of the ones I have seen recently.

Stop allowing “who u used to be” to dictate “who you are.” I’ve heard it said that people can’t change… but I’ve seen God do it!! #WontHeDoIt #IfYouWantItGodCanDoIt
In 1 month of time God has: -Given us $10,750.00 in cash unexpectedly. -Given me the opportunity to take on additional responsibility in my secular job, which will increase my pay by about $1,200-$1,400 a month for this school year. #wonthedoit
-Given us $10,750.00 in cash unexpectedly.
How many of us can say it with certainty? God will do it!

As He Said

#won’thedoit
#won’thedoit
There is no place where God will do something more than when He has spoken it. If God said…God is going to do it.
1 Kings 5
1 Kings 5:12 NKJV
So the Lord gave Solomon wisdom, as He had promised him; and there was peace between Hiram and Solomon, and the two of them made a treaty together.
1 Kings 3:12 NKJV
behold, I have done according to your words; see, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor shall any like you arise after you.
1 Kings 3
Solomon sought God for wisdom and understanding. God gave it.
Deuteronomy 26:18 NKJV
Also today the Lord has proclaimed you to be His special people, just as He promised you, that you should keep all His commandments,
Dt 26:18
God promised Israel that if they would make a covenant with Him and keep His commandments then He would come down and dwell among them. Making them His special people. He did it!
Whatever God speaks, or whatever His word says… it will be done.
Isaiah
Isaiah 55:11 NKJV
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Sarah

Genesis 18:10–13 NKJV
And He said, “I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son.” (Sarah was listening in the tent door which was behind him.) Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age; and Sarah had passed the age of childbearing. Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, “After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?” And the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?’
Genesis 18:
Genesis 21:1–2 NKJV
And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did for Sarah as He had spoken. For Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.
Genesis 21:1-2
Sarah laughed. When did Sarah believe? Was it when God made her feel foolish for laughing? Was it when the baby bump started to appear?
God gave Sarah and Abraham a promise that was so ridiculous in nature that Sarah laughed. Be honest, which of us would have not laughed at the thought of having a baby at the age Sarah was. Abraham was 100 years old when he became a dad.
When God did as He said.... Sarah laughed again.
Genesis 21:
Genesis 21:6 NKJV
And Sarah said, “God has made me laugh, and all who hear will laugh with me.”
What if God wants to do some things in your life that are so amazing, when it happens the only option is to laugh… Did He really just do that?

Joshua

Joshua is known as the conquering leader who led Israel into Canaan. Defeating Jericho by following God’s instruction. Defeating all the enemies who inhabited the land. Dividing the land between the tribes of Israel.
Before any battle was won Joshua first experienced the disappointment of being close enough to touch the promise but not able to possess it.
Numbers13:16
Numbers 13:16 NKJV
These are the names of the men whom Moses sent to spy out the land. And Moses called Hoshea the son of Nun, Joshua.
For a moment Joshua had his feet on what his heart wanted.
Forty days he was able to enjoy it. He brought back grape clusters so big two people had to carry them. They brought back figs and pomegranates. He said the land flows with milk and honey.
Joshua and Caleb were ready to go take the land. We can do this.
The other ten spies doubted… Sometimes we stand in our way. Other times it’s someone else who can ruin it for us.
Forty five years later… God fulfills His word to Joshua.
Joshua 14:10 NKJV
And now, behold, the Lord has kept me alive, as He said, these forty-five years, ever since the Lord spoke this word to Moses while Israel wandered in the wilderness; and now, here I am this day, eighty-five years old.
85 years old… Joshua gets hold of his promise. It may seem like it’s not happening but if God has spoken....
Joshua 21:43–44 NKJV
So the Lord gave to Israel all the land of which He had sworn to give to their fathers, and they took possession of it and dwelt in it. The Lord gave them rest all around, according to all that He had sworn to their fathers. And not a man of all their enemies stood against them; the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hand.
Joshua 21:
Look at someone....Won’t He Do It!

Don’t let doubt ruin the journey.
Romans 4:21 NKJV
and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.
Romans 4:13-21
Romans 4:13–21 NKJV
For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect, because the law brings about wrath; for where there is no law there is no transgression. Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.
Abraham was fully convinced that what God had promised He was also able to perform.
Joshua was fully convinced...
You have a God who is able....
You have a promise....
God is able to do it, said He would do it. What more is needed?
Look at someone and say…Won’t He Do It!
We have a promise today.
Joel 2:28 NKJV
“And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.
Acts 2:16–18 NKJV
But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: ‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy.
Acts 2:16-
Acts 2:37-39
Acts 2:37–39 NKJV
Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”
