PARENTING: ACTION 1- A STRONG BELIEF

Brace yourself: you’re about to begin a journey that could change the way you parent and redirect the course of your child’s life.
We have confidence that comes form our own parenting journey that has bee filled with failures and setbacks, but also victories and a lot of fun times.
We believe they will help you and just as importantly, we believe they are doable.
Most parents have questions and fears about the negative influence of media, culture, and peers on their children. This is a natural and normal fear and concern, because this worlds culture is crazy.

STRONG BELIEF

The first essential action in becoming a Godly parent is having a strong belief.
You must believe that you are the most significant influence in the life of your child or children. If you do not believe this simple truth, you have minimize the incredible responsibility God has given you.

BE LESS CONCERNED ABOUT “OUTSIDE” INFLUENCES.

HAVE MORE CONCERNED ABOUT THEIR LARGE SIGNIFICANT ROLE.

You are the primary influence in your child’s life.
Matthew 5:14 KJV 1900
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Believe it or not, more than anyone else, kids of all ages are influenced and shaped by their parents’ actions, beliefs, and values. (Talk about this a ask serious questions).
This influence only shifts away from parents to other influences when the parents are either physically or emotionally absent from their child’s life.
If mom and dad steps out of the parenting scene, culture and all it represents is willing and glad to step in.

YOUR ROLE MATTERS

STRONG BELIEF

Your influence is why you are such a big deal as a parent! This should be no surprise since children are very valuable to God.
You must believe that you are the most significant influence in the life of your child or children. If you do not believe this simple truth, you have minimize the incredible responsibility God has given you.
Mark 9:36–37 KJV 1900
And he took a child, and set him in the midst of them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said unto them, Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.

When you bring a child into this world and your life, you become Jesus or a God to that child until he or she come to the knowledge and understanding of sin, righteousness, right and wrong.
Psalm 127:3 KJV 1900
Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: And the fruit of the womb is his reward.
God has rewarded you with the gift of a child.
A gift worthy of cherishing and one that requires your very best effort.
Your first step: is to simply believe you are vital to the health and development of your child. Your parenting matters. Your child’s future is on the line.
