Through out the Bible, old and new testaments salvation has always been through faith.
Lets look at a couple examples.
It is super easy to say we can do something.
Then the time comes to do it, it is completely different.
I was in a bench press contest.
I was able to bench 345 pounds.
I said I could do 345 pounds.
During the contest I was only able to push 275 pounds.
I lost.
I was humiliated.
The next day in the gym, I ended my work out with 345 pounds for reps.
In our Christian walk we can say a lot of spiritual things.
When it comes time to deliver, we are not always able to though.

Boot Camp is a place where a lot of decisions are made.
It is when we get home, that the choices we made at camp meet the reality we intend to live in.

All this to say, our faith in God should be seen not just heard.
We have talked about this passage before.
Last week I was asked to teach out of James so as I read the book, this part stood out.
There is a lot in James to teach about, but I was reminded of this topic most.

No. But, if you are saved and truly touched by the Spirit of God you will want to serve.
