“In The World: Connecting without Compromising our Faith.”

We have watch Daniel and his friends live in a world run by unbelievers and not compromise themselves or their faith toward God.
Through the book we have seen:
Kidnapping and exile (ch. 1)
Visions and Dreams of Christ as the stone cut without hands to destroy all other kingdoms (ch.
2)
Christ in the Fiery Furnace delivering his people (ch 4)
The Writing on the wall with swift destruction (ch.
5)
Scandal and entrapment as Daniel was faithful to pray to God. (ch. 6)
Christ shooting the mouths of the lions delivering Daniel.
(ch. 6)
The everlasting dominion of Christ Kingdom.
(ch.
7)
The time of the end (ch.
8)
The seventy weeks of Israel (ch.
9)
And now we come to the end of the book and the last vision of Daniel covering 10, 11, and 12.
Daniel is approached by Christ in a final vision.
(ch.
10)
Daniel is given a detailed account of the time leading up to Christ first coming (ch.
11)
The prophecy of judgement is the last thing given to Daniel (ch. 12)
In today’s world judgement has become something that no one want to talk about.
Judgement has been associated with hatred, and bigotry.
This has carried over into the way people think about God.
If God is going to judge then he must be prejudice and hate people.
No one wants God’s judgement but everyone wants justice.
Ex: Ferguson riots in 2014.
The murder of a son or daughter for no reason.
No one wants God’s judgement but everyone wants peace and safety.
Ex: Sexual predators list, Prisons, police and armies.
No one wants God’s judgement because people want the freedom to do as they please with no consequences.
Can you imagine a society that functioned like that.
They made some movies about that called “The Purge.”
So what do people have to do to get rid of God’s judgement?
They must get rid of God!
They deny his existence.
It’s like we’re living in “Nacho Libre.”
Nacho: “Why have you not been baptized?
Steven: “I only believe in science.”
People reason him away with fake science.
Scientific Theory that forms a hypothesis without the ability to test and no resulting proof.
Fictional science that takes more faith than believing the obvious answer that all of this was made with intelligent design.
They make a plethora of god’s so they can devise their own god and system of belief.
They claim to be atheist.
An atheist believes it is unknown and no one can know.
They dismiss the Bible as a book written by men for control of men.
With no absolute anything is possible.
As we have seen even through the book of Daniel the Bible is accurate down to the finest detail.
There is

The first judgement we need to talk about is not one of the future but one of the past.

Is
Christ has delivered us from wrath and offers his righteousness to anyone that will receive it.
