Instead of being a worship leader, be a lead worshiper.
Matt Redman
True worship is always a verb
When we come together we need to be ready to have an audience with the King of Kings.
Three things to avoid that hinder our worship.
1. Allowing ourselves to be distracted.
2. Staying Offended.
3. Allowing our sin to keep us from worship.
Latreuo - to serve, to ascribe worth to something by serving.
Proskuneo - Literally means to kiss the hand of the King.
There is a call for intimacy between us and God.
Worship is our response, both personal and corporate to God - for who He is and what He’s done!
Expressed in and by things we say and the way we live.
Louie Giglio
