Samson won’t listen to his parents. They know better than him. We don’t know how old Samson is here, marriageable age – somewhere around teenage years probably.

What is a wedding supposed to be about? THE BRIDE.
But Samson is making it all about himself.

So they try for three days and can’t get it.
Then the 30 guys take Samson’s fiancée and are like – listen, get him to tell us or we will burn your house down. A tad aggressive – man this riddle contest has escalated really fast.
So she is crying all over him during their wedding feast, ruining the party, making everything terrible, her makeup is running down her face, Samson’s clothes are wet from her tears, no one is dancing, no one is eating and having fun, everyone is like WORST WEDDING EVER.

He gives in, after all of her crying and ruining everything.
Sometimes when you give in to someone else it isn’t because you are being selfless – its because you are being selfish.

If you let someone influence you to do what is wrong – it isn’t commonly viewed as being selfish – but it is because you are doing what is easy over what is right.
