Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We must be filled with the Spirit
We are a people who believe that when we are freed from our brokenness, God’s spirit lives among us and shifts our perspective and speaks into our lives. Wisdom can only go so far without the Spirit of God.
Give thanks, you have to find the silver lining, and that can make you and optimist.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom.
Though it cost all you have, get understanding.
for wisdom is more precious than rubies,
