Theme: The meaning and purpose of the seventh and eighth plague of Egypt. Egypt would not look to God, so all they had left to look at were the insects eating their lives away. Nations do not flourish when they remain resistant before the Lord. The plagues are signs and they are meant to create faith or disbelief. Our fears and our disbelief will always drive us into outer darkness. If we follow these plagues we are going to be pointed at Christ. He went darker and deeper then anyone ever has that we should know He is the Lord, the one who loves and saves us.
