“How a Person Steps Away

From God”

·         People don’t normally jump into dishonest or immoral behavior – they typically ____________ into it.

·         We are all in danger of being so confident about our spiritual lives that we don’t realize we are taking tiny _______ away from God.

·         God gave us the story of the Israelites so they would be “examples” to us. That means to “stamp an __________________ on something.”

“Now these things occurred as examples to keep us from setting our hearts on            evil things as they did.”   1 Corinthians 10:6 (NIV)
