God's Plan is for us to glorify Him. We glorify Him by enjoying Him, through Christ, above all other pleasures. Therfore, we are made to enjoy God as much as much as we can and help others enjoy God as well.

Introduction

Today we are going to talk about two topics. The first is worship. the second is happiness. These are topics you have likely heard about before, but I still want to start off with a quick refresher on what the Bible has to say about them.
We Are Created In God’s Image
Genesis 1:26 ESV
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
We Are Created With A Purpose
2 Timothy 1:9 ESV
who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began,

Worship Versus Happiness

We Are Created With A Purpose
2 Timothy 1:9 ESV
who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began,
2 Timothy 1:9 ESV
who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began,
What is that purpose?
Isaiah answers that question in chapter 43
Isaiah 43:7 ESV
everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.”
So to summarize our recap session in one statement, Humans are created unique from the rest of the creation. We have been created to accomplish a special goal and purpose. That is, to glorify God.
This brings us to the focus of this message today.

Worship Versus Happiness

What does your life look like in terms of worship?
Do you worship regularly?
Do you struggle to worship?
What causes you to worship? Does worship come from your heart or from your habits?
In your mind, do you think it would be easier to worship regularly if you could be happier
Now think, in your mind, about the true answers to those questions for a few moments
What does your life look like in terms of happiness?
What brings you contentment?
What
