The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. // notes: Luke 10: 25 On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” 26 “What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you read it?” 27 He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ ” 28 “You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do this and you will live.” 29 But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” Read the “Bible Together”: Join others from Christ’s Church Albany as we take time to learn and focus on Jesus! Volunteer: Get involved in one of the teams that make everything happen both inside and outside the Sunday service, from Love Albany and Serve Albany, to Sunday set-up, Café snacks, children’s programming, and administration. Visit the Connections table to get started. Membership: Explore what it means to be a member of Christ’s Church Albany. The class is held on the first Sunday of the month after the service; lunch and childcare are provided. Baptism: Curious about the next step of Baptism and wondering if it’s for you?
