Second coming of Jesus Christ
What is it?
What is it?
Jesus Christ will return visibly and in glory at the end of history to raise the dead, judge the world, destroy all evil and opposition to God and consummate his kingdom. Believers are encouraged to be prepared for his return, waiting with eagerness and joy.

And he came to the Ancient One and was presented before him. 14 To him was given dominion and glory and kingship, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him. “Parousia”
Meaning literally “presence” or “coming”, the term was used in the NT world of a royal visit:
