God is the God of morality. God is a just and merciful God. God has put law in place to protect our very own purpose. The law is good, true, holy, and righteous. But the law does not save me
The pharisees thought they were doing God a favor by protecting the law and making sure everyone abide by it but they misinterpreted the law by using it as measurement stick for righteousness
The pharisees went against jesus teaching and were offended by his teaching. They always tried to find fault and the guiltless because he overstepped traditions and was revamping people into how God really intended things to be instead of this man made rules and traditions
In the text the pharisees had problems that thought jesus would have a problem. But your problems don’t make him have problems because he the problem solver. They came to jesus with nonsense talking about his disciples and why are they eating on the sabbath. Jesus wasn’t gone to correct a need of hunger. They also had a problem with jesus healing on the sabbath
The pharisees had the sabbath day all the way twisted up as jesus was transgressing the law but he was redirecting the people of its meaning.
Jesus was saying I’m not hung up over all these ritual without any compassion and what people really need to set them free. When God implemented rest he did it out an act of mercy from those who are suffering and suffered from Egypt by giving them rest and a land flowing with milk and honey. God never constituted the definition of work meant.
God implemented rules and Torah’s of how to live. Because he is the God of morality. Moses is now a mouthpiece of what God has giving his people on how to live in his kingdom that he is about to give them.
The law became very important to the Jews as it should have since it contained Gods commandments But they got caught up and a system until they neglected love for one another
The Pharisees were often testing Jesus trying to catch him off guard as a false teacher You can’t take my mind nor play with it
The Sabbath was a gift of God’s mercy for people who needed rest. Jesus declares himself Lord of that gift. As God’s divine Son, He exercises full authority over God’s Sabbath.
The rest that He gives accomplishes what Sabbath promises.They take for granted that an act of mercy on the Sabbath is a violation of the Law of Moses.
I’m hungry for the word but I been violated as breaking a law all because of tradition. A system that God never once created.
All because of all miss perceive idea Jesus who was faultless overstepped some of the Pharisees traditions but he never transgressed the law itself
The Pharisees had the law down pack. But they were neglecting love for one another Don’t have that Pharisees mentality. Got church down pack but hate your brother and sisters The Pharisees perception was an assumption
