Thy word.
NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
And the LORD said, I have pardoned according to thy word:
I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.
Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.
LAMED. For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.
Thy word
all these servants of God are talking about the word of the Lord or God
as apposed to our words.
when we look at at the word of God we must realise that this is God speaking to us
The God odf the universe the creator of heaven and earth wants to have an input into our lives
So why dont we want to spend time reading the word of God
Maybe we see the word of God as a stuffy old book and not relavent to the word of Today
Maybe we see our selfs as to suficticated that we are not needing the writings of a bygon age to infulence us
We might not find time to sit and read this collection of stories for we feel that its not stimulating enough for us to day.
Let me tell you that this book which contains 66 other book contains so many different jenres. We go from post evelution man to post return of the creator of the universe we find love stories we find horror we find the struggle of an nation against so many odds we find poetry we fin prophecy and the fulfilment of prophecy we see the every day account of the creator of the universe as he lives upon the earth. It also is a book of wisdom on how we should live our lives
This book has so much so why dont we spend more time in it.
if we lived over 2000 years ago then our lives would have been more influenced by the o t possible
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
Here we see that Holy Men were moved by the Holy Spirit.
The Holy spirit had an affect on the lives of Holy men.

Dose the Holy Spirit have an effect on your life today
Or are you like those thousnds of people the God wanted his message to go to but they wouldnt listen.
Then began he to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time. And at the season he sent a servant to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty. And again he sent another servant: and they beat him also, and entreated him shamefully, and sent him away empty. And again he sent a third: and they wounded him also, and cast him out. Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him. But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours. So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them? He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid. And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner? Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.
Here we have the parable of the Husband man i want you to see how the word of God tells the narrative of the life of the children of isreal.and the world in general. an anallergy if you like
first we se that a man planted a vine yard and let it forth to husband men
Here we see how God created the world and in essence a garden and let it to be cared for by the husbandman we could say us
and the creator went away for a long time
but when he sent for his fruit each servant that was sent was beat.

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
here was this same word of God that was at the begining the same word that wanted to be revealed to men but they hadnt the time to listern
the children of Isreal were stiff necked and wanted to do there own thing
But hadnt God created all that they had shouldnt they show some appreciation to him
God had sent prophet after prophet but they didnt listern
So God in the fulness of time
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
this was God answer to a world that wouldnt listern that word that prophet word that creative word became flesh and did what

the spoken word had walked of the pages of the old testament and into the scean of time in the form of Man
This Man was Jesus he is the word of God
the written word became the spoken word so that the world would not only read of the love of God but would see the love of God.

talking showing the heart of God to people who wanted to hear what God would do and can do in the lives of people who would put there trust in him.
Back to our readin about the vine yard we se that the owner sent his son to recieve the fruit of the vine yard but they put out of the vinyard and killed him.
can we see a simalarity here they took jesus and carried him outside the city and killed him
Men thought that this would be the end of the Matter but we were and are not talking about any normal man jesus was and is the son of God you cant kill him for the life that is in him.
So he rose again there is no body of jesus you can go and see an empty grave but no body . he is ascended on high making intersetion on our behalf.
Today we who have acknowlged him as the son of God have that unique relationship with him.
To day this word of God should to use be the most cherrised book put down your mills and boon put down your stephen king, put down your agitha christie and pick up the word of God.
Let this word of have an effect on your life the only way to let it is to read it.
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
