5:54 am Hi Pamela, I am just in a really confused state at the moment and I am just venting but also looking for guidance.
I believe in a Creator but I don't know if I believe in the divinity of Jesus although I want to.
I love the community of a church but I feel awkward and like a fake being there because of all my doubt.
I feel very skeptical in regards to prayer but I acknowledge that things happen that I can't explain.
I want to love the Bible but I just can't relate to the Old Testament and always skeptical and confused with it.
I walk away but I feel a hole in my heart and end up back where I started.
I want a faith and a God that I am passionate about and want to share with my family and friends.
I don't believe in hell and I am comfortable with people who don't believe (my wife is an Atheist) but I still feel something pulling me towards a God.
Because of my skepticism I just don't know where to start or how.
I need guidance and support but I don't know the best way.
I don't want to really see anyone about this as it has been hard enough just writing this but I do want to start a conversation again and maybe try and start again.
I want to believe but don't know if I can.
