Life’s True Meaning
What is the true meaning of life?
What were you created for?
Were you created simply to make money, buy stuff, and make yourself happy?
Can your whole life be summed up by a few cliches that you’ve heard and decided to live by?
If it feels good do it.
I don’t want nobody to give me nothing, open up the door I’ll get it myself.
“Living La Vida Loca”.
Well if you feel or have ever felt that the world revolves around little old you that’s okay; I’m pretty sure we can all guess who your role model is.
He’s on TV all day every day talking about how great he is and how everything he does is great and how he can do no wrong.
You probably also have noticed how annoying he can be and the only one singing his praises is himself.
Do you really want to go through your whole life so self-absorbed and not caring about anything but your personal interests?
I don’t think so because it is completely antithetical to what it means to be Christ like.
Jesus put everybody before Himself, so if you really want to be like Jesus realize that it can’t just be about you.
If you really want to know what is the true meaning of life it really makes sense to consult the One that makes life itself possible.
One of our biggest problems arises when we insist on trying to answer theological questions philosophically.
That’s because the philosophical perspective relies totally on the intellect and refuses to reflect on the revelation that only God can give.
