You might be a Christ Follower if...

You realize you don’t know it all.
You See the person first.
Tip generously
Recognize God’s blessings.
Know Gods word has the real answers and that churches sometimes mess up what God really meant.
Read the whole Bible, even the tough parts and asks God to help you live it.
Know Jesus was not as interested in politics as he was in people.
Recognize that you live in an amazing country that allows you unprecedented freedoms to worship, share your faith, and live it out.
Understand that you were given stewardship over creation and should take care of the gift of a planet and resources God has given.
Read the Bible, study it, pray on their your as well as listening to pastors, and teachers. Is willing to admit they don’t’ know.
Doesn’t forsake the assembling of yourself with others, while realizing that church is not a destination for the weekend but a chefs kitchen where we become more than one piece of a meal.

A Lego Christian recognizes two things.

It all falls apart....

Talk about when Joyce was sick a few years ago and God confirmed his calling…(warm blankets, hot chocolate, banging my fists on the floor of heaven)
(HCSB) — 28 Regarding the gospel, they are enemies for your advantage, but regarding election, they are loved because of the patriarchs, 29 since God’s gracious gifts and calling are irrevocable.

By themselves they are weak!

By themselves they are weak.
(HCSB) 5 I will boast about this person, but not about myself, except of my weaknesses. 6 For if I want to boast, I will not be a fool, because I will be telling the truth. But I will spare you, so that no one can credit me with something beyond what he sees in me or hears from me, 7 especially because of the extraordinary revelations. Therefore, so that I would not exalt myself, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to torment me so I would not exalt myself. 8 Concerning this, I pleaded with the Lord three times to take it away from me. 9 But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me. 10 So I take pleasure in weaknesses, insults, catastrophes, persecutions, and in pressures, because of Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

They must be broken apart and put back together…over and over and over again!

(HCSB) 19 Although I am a free man and not anyone’s ⌊slave⌋, I have made myself a slave to everyone, in order to win more people. 20 To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win Jews; to those under the law, like one under the law—though I myself am not under the law—to win those under the law. 21 To those who are without ⌊that⌋ law, like one without the law—not being without God’s law but within Christ’s law—to win those without the law. 22 To the weak I became weak, in order to win the weak. I have become all things to all people, so that I may by every possible means save some. 23 Now I do all this because of the gospel, so I may become a partner in its benefits.

This Weeks Challenge:

Each morning when you wake up before you start your day before you even throw the covers off and put feet to the floor pray this short prayer. “Master builder, today I place myself in your hands and ask you to build me into the tool you need to build your kingdom in someone’s life that I will touch today. Shape me, mold me, speak through me first through my actions and then with your words. “
