The author of Hebrews takes us to the life of Enoch and reveals that he is a man who pleased God. He lived during a very evil time on earth, which was just before the flood where God judges the earth. This is what the book of Jude says about Enoch 14 It was also about these that Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his holy ones, 15 to execute judgment on all and to convict all the ungodly of all their deeds of ungodliness that they have committed in such an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things that ungodly sinners have spoken against him.” I doubt that the things Enoch was saying was too pleasing to the ears of the people he was saying it to and yet God was so pleased with Enoch that he took him straight to heaven what we specifically learn from these two verses is how it is that we please God and the answer is by faith.
