Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who were listening to the message.
All the circumcised believers who came with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also.
One of the most wonderful things that will happen to a new believer in Christ is the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
It is also a unique distinction of true Christianity, because no other religion teaches the coming of its god to its believers like the Bible teaches.

and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
