The Necessity for Unity & Love

Our unity is an answer to Jesus’s prayer. Our Love for one another is an answer to his command.
The end result is our success on Earth and
A rich inheritance in the kingdom of God.
John 17:11 NKJV
11 Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.
Jn
John 17:20–23 NKJV
20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
We must understand to unify with him, means to unify with his body.
His body is the church
His body is the church.
It is so important for us to be unified with Christ for us to be successful in life. Without Christ, we will fail here and lose our souls. We must therefore learn to be unified with him by being unified with his body the church. This means being one with each other.
1 John 3:16–18 NKJV
16 By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 17 But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? 18 My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.
1 John 4:20–21 NKJV
20 If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.
1Jn 5:
1 John 5:1–5 NKJV
1 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. 4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
God’s Word is clear Love and unity is a priority!
Jn
John 13:34–35 NKJV
34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
John 15:12 NKJV
12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
Jn 15
John 15:17 NKJV
17 These things I command you, that you love one another.
Romans 12:10 NKJV
10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another;
Romans 13:8 NKJV
8 Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.
