FOUR QUESTIONS FROM GOD

Introduction: Call the congregation attention to the four questions God has asked man.
Where art thou?
What is this that thou hast done?
Where is thy brother?
What doest thou here?

WHERE ART THOU?

Genesis 3:9 KJV 1900
And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
a. God is seeking for man.
Ezekiel 22:30 KJV 1900
And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
b. Where am I in the sight of God. Not in the sight of man. Man has to give an account to God.
c. Instead of Adam seeking God, God sought Adam. Adam should have been crying and searching for God.
Luke 19:10 KJV 1900
For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
Shepherd seeking lost sheep.
Woman searching for lost coin.
Prodigal son away from home - coming to himself. The father looking and watching for him.

WHAT HAS THOU DONE?

A. For a moment just look what she had done.
Disobeyed God.
Had turned from the fountain of life to the fountain of death and drank of that fountain.
She introduced sin into this world. God let her live long enough to see what she had done.
a. 1st son a murderer.
b. They lived nearly a thousand years and she and Adam
lived to see somethings of the untold woe and misery
they introduced to this world.

WHERE IS THY BROTHER?

WHAT DOEST THOU HERE?

A. God asked what are you doing here to Elijah.
B. What are we doing for God while we are here?
